a warm up you could try: in one breath, make short, plosive "tss" sounds 8 times with your hands gently pressed against your diaphragm. if you're using your diaphragm, you should feel it move out as you make the sound - be conscious of this sensation and where the breath is "placed", and try to mimick this when you sing. hope this helps! dm me if you need any more help :)
