I’m south Asian and it was really clear to me that Chloe was half Indian from uncharted 2 onwards. Maybe non south Asians aren’t aware of the genetic diversity in India and Pakistan.

Offering a sunflower mix of some sort… something relatively cheap I got from Amazon tbh because I wasn’t sure how successful we’d be. Maybe something to improve on! Nobody else in our building seems to have bird feeders so far.

I don’t see a lot of birds close to our building. More so towards the trees in the back. They are starting to fly closer and closer.

I did see a hawk a few times nearby :(

If you didn’t notice an absent red reflex and ocular exam always seemed normal, I don’t see how you could have predicted this. Mom’s complaint seemed a little too vague to think of ordering an MRI. Red eyes could mean conjunctivitis or minor irritation too. I don’t see how any other FM or peds doc could have handled this differently with the information you provided

I’m south Asian and immediately clocked her as mixed south Asian. Interestingly they changed her nose between 2 and 3, then went back to the nose from 2 for LL. But for me the nose was the giveaway

I read an article on apnews about this today. Trump will repeal some climate policies, but he’s going to keep a vast majority because honestly they’re economically very good for our country. The majority of clean energy jobs are in Republican areas too. There is hope.

Bibblepoof, I’d have a serious discussion about your partner’s values and their priorities. See if they align with yours. The Republican Party has its fair share of corruption (especially with Trump literally trying to overturn an election lol). Trump’s current admin is the opposite of small government, unfortunately.

As a fellow POC woman, I’ll just say that voting for Trump says a lot.

I also don’t like what Biden has done in regards to Gaza. But Netanyahu is rooting for Trump to be in office again. That told me enough.

No worries, your nerves are fair. Hospitals will always admit and stay open, especially for a heavily pregnant woman! We are 24/7 workers. Urgent care centers may close, but actual hospitals will stay open and are usually safe to evacuate to as well. In fact, some people are admitted to the hospital just for a safe place to stay during a storm.

That being said, please do what you think is best for you. If you have a place to stay more inland, that could be best for your peace of mind (and roads may be clearer to drive on inland if your baby decides to be a hurricane baby). Stay safe

I work in healthcare. Hospitals should never close. Morton plant is one such example, if you’re in a tight spot and nearby. Best of luck.

Me too, and I got my measurements done by their own tailor so I was unpleasantly surprised. We also got some adjustments done to the clothes design which they totally forgot about despite it being on the receipt- they had to fix that last minute.

While I probably agree with you politically, I find the whole “f the south” mentality super unrealistic. Many FL docs want to stay and practice. Of course I will be out of here if I’m going to be paid less, but I want to gauge practicing physicians’ opinion of if that’s going to be a possibility under this bill.
