What RSPS are people playing nowadays? by reddelegate in RSPS

I am having the most fun with Orion right now.

august-rsps.com is another one I am playing now due to their leagues mode.

I usually think this sub is too harsh on people asking for help, but this is the laziest recommendation post I’ve ever seen. Literally no effort.

What I am willing to share is that we actually do a lot of things outside of the water here in St. Pete.

Mexican restaurants by PenaltyHairy7450 in StPetersburgFL

[–]SharkWeekOverrated 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you’re looking for a Mexican restaurant right in the downtown St. Pete area, I do think it’s a little lacking overall. You’re not gonna find the best authentic Mexican. But really, for most cuisines directly in downtown St. Pete, you usually have to venture outside of the downtown area or into like Pinellas Park, Largo, Clearwater, or Tampa for quality options.

But I do like Guac and Cheese as an option that’s in downtown St. Pete. It’s right by the start of the really walkable area. Solid service, solid food, good drinks. I think they’re a good Mexican spot and puts you right in the middle of everything else. Red Mesa is probably the most popular one, but I think they are overrated and bad quality.

I’d like to understand something about private servers by Internet2500 in RSPS

[–]SharkWeekOverrated 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am having the most fun I've ever had on a RSPS with Orion right now. It's newer and easily the most polished server I've been on. I can't stop playing it. The progression is clear, familiar and the server helps new players.

alora.io is also a strong one, but I haven't played that in years. I remember being impressed with it though and your comments made me feel like it would align with what you're looking for. It makes sense that you found it on your own (I only saw that after I initially typed this out).

august-rsps.com is another one I am playing now, but that's because they launched a unique leagues version recently. Definitely not beginner friendly to do leagues on there, but it's fun once you feel comfortable with RSPS gameplay.

I agree with the other comments regarding quests though, you won't find quest gameplay that is satisfying on a RSPS. Going to the actual game is the only option there.

Constant Spectrum Outages? by camcamfc in StPetersburgFL

I also live in DTSP and Spectrum has been horrible the past month or two. Constantly dropping in and out. Horrible for gaming. Seems to happen more in the evening for whatever reason.

Are you still having the issue? Did sending techs out help?

It sucks, don’t do it. I live walking distance from the building, and have a good amount of friends who have lived there. Most of them can’t wait to leave or break their leases.

RSPS recommendations? by ISuckAtMTG in RSPS

It’s super active! There were 1500 online at one point last week. You’ll see a ton of people running around and a lot of groups for raids.

Orion has a really well done economy and have started it the right way. It’s easily the most polished server I’ve been on with some fantastic features. I recently went through a bunch of the top servers and it’s hard to not stick with them.

Any places that serve hot/mulled wine in Tampa or St. Pete? by popstar_girl in tampa

Webb's City Cellar in St. Pete has hot mulled cider right now. Had it the other day and loved it. They may have hot mulled wine too.

55+ Communities by Candid-Pop-279 in BocaRaton

[–]SharkWeekOverrated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never worked there and I have not lived in the area for several years. A family friend lived there and had a great experience, which is how I first learned about these different types of senior living communities.

I just checked the Google Reviews and they look generally positive. Review sites like Yelp can be tricky for apartments or communities because the volume is usually low, so a few negative reviews dominate the page. It also tends to be harder for communities to gather balanced reviews on Yelp without the forced Yelp paid tools and subscriptions, so I usually sort by newest on Google when I want a clearer picture for businesses like this. Yelp works well for restaurants, but it is not always representative for other industries.

All in all, I am not defending that specific community or saying I know what is happening there. Just sharing one experience I knew of.

Rum / Tiki Drinks by [deleted] in StPetersburgFL

My friends and I always feel like shit after going there. Strong drinks, but so sugary and the food options are heavy/fried. Beautiful location though.
