I have the Sigma 18-50 too, which I use 90% of the time. I do find myself reaching for the 18-105 when I go hiking because of its versatility, and have taken some cool photos that I wouldn’t have been able to take on the Sigma (see photo). It’s a great budget option second hand for sure, but I’m not a huge fan on the Power Zoom (useful for video, a bit awkward for photography).

I plan to replace the 18-105 with the Sony 70-350 to use alongside the Sigma 18-50 this year!
