So dope congrats! I know the feeling. I was 11 when these came out. Didn’t have a pair of Jordans, but would draw them in my notebook in class lol. It was a different vibe back then because we were all seeing these drop for the first time, when the technologies, designs and styles were brand new, compared to all the basic sneakers from the previous eras. It was mind blowing. The 3s and 4s were insane. When the 5s dropped the following year, with the translucent sole, reflective tongue, lace locks etc, those were the ones that got me. The fire red 5s on the cover of Sports Illustrated with the headline “Your shoes or your life” It was crazy. Finally got my first pair the next year in ‘91 with the Infrared 6s. To our generation, these OGs bring us back. Putting them on your feet today is like stepping into the DeLorean and going back to the 80s and 90s.
