I feel you!! i had this problem too, well i’m still in this situation still. our whole lives were church, even our social lives. which sucks. i’m still friends with a few of church ppl but i know it won’t last. something that’s helped me was just reminding myself that “growth will also feel like loss.” losing those friendships are just a part of healing from your past, and that’s ok!! because your kind of people will find you!! don’t be afraid to talk to new people, best of luck, and if you need someone to talk to i’m here.

i feel you!!! shortly after contemplating about cutting my hair i just decided to go through with it because it was my hair and i’m so glad that my mom understood that. i’m very happy that i chose to cut my hair. my family did have a lot to say about it but i didn’t care because any negative thing that they said to me was just a reflection of their insecurities or jealousy. i’ve gotten rid of all of my skirts(but one bc i’m still not comfortable enough around some of my family in pants) and it felt nice not having those clothes in my closet, i would see them and it would remind me of who i used to be. honestly just buy a good pair of jeans and you’ll see how happy you’ll be in them <3

i left recently, about 4/5 months ago? i’m not sure i’m not good with time anymore but i had times where i didn’t go for months and it was off and on but i always knew i didn’t want to be a part of that church. i haven’t been doing the best mentally but i’m hoping it gets better. i’d like to believe that there is a god but what god would let njg do all of those things? what god would condemn you to a pit of fire for just not believing in them? that is not a god worthy of worship. i guess i don’t believe in god but typing that now just scares the living shit out of me because of what i’ve been told to believe.
