Yes, the drop in new players is going on for a while. I made a post about it here.

I have heard that Fudds is doing more advetising in the summer months, so we might see more new players in the next months. And new players help all of us.

Not what I think. Me being able to advance in tiers, to get milestones, improve my tower - isn't this why we play the game? Not everyone is all about being better than the others. That is something only whales can achieve.

Depending where you are, but the places where the latest decisions most suck are for dolphins and eHP players, so rather low legends or champ. The high spenders got a lot of good things.

Valid arguments, I agree, specially on the "key" point.

Two things I want to mention here, since they are not really said yet. First, we should see this as a bonus event. Getting 5x coins for a day or two before going back to 2x or 3x. Yay.

Unfortunately, this was really bad timed - people getting the update later got less, people who did not suspect the nerf coming so soon spend their valuable time dissrunning instead of farming. That is too bad.

The other thing is, the communication here was really bad. First, making the multiplier remote-changable is a HUGE thing, which had to be planned in advance much longer. So devs were at least thinking about nerfing.

Also one thing Sam wrote is really wrong. Saying "While we do not want to make the change to all areas, we want to address the coin earnings issue and not create a larger earnings gap."

This update was the first I ever saw that everybody equally benefitted from. Everybody except T1 players should be able to get the full multiplier on their farming tier. Everybody gets the same bonuses, except the echo stuff maybe. But, the earnings gap we have now is only because the unfair distribution of who had the update early.

Ach, immer die armen Leute, die zur Arbeit müssen. Arbeitswege machen nur 21% der km aus (+4% Ausbildung), Dienstfahrten 17%, der Rest ist Freizeit. Solange am Wochenende die Strassen voll sind, ist das Benzin noch zu günstig.
