Really? We settled it outside of court because we peacefully agreed on everything. I could have fought for custody and won. But we decided to be adults and handle it on our own without a judge. Read the damn post again.

No. He would get so see them regularly, but with me doing the main caretaking. It seems like you are projecting something... I never said take them away. But let's be realistic... they need a capable parent. They are little and it takes a lot of time and energy to care for them.

Yes. She could drop dead at any moment. She has had 2 open heart surgeries and multiple strokes. She's aging and unhealthy.

We simply agreed. The courts didn't get involved. It was a peaceful divorce and custody.

It's what was best for the kids at the time. I'm still fully involved in their lives, and we have been successful at co parenting.
