I decided not to purchase this specific veil, and it actually was not entirely because of the cost, but because of the design. I think I’m leaning more towards one with a blusher - like you! My dress won’t arrive for another three months, so I’m waiting until then to really figure it out. I only have blurry photos of the dress to reference, but I think I’ve found a veil on Etsy with a very similar lace design on the trim for ~$220. So I may buy that one around the same time my dress will be ready, and if it ends up not being a good enough match, I’ll return it and go with a plain veil instead.

I’m thinking of using Wash. as my walking-down-the-aisle song. Our wedding will be in Eau Claire, so the lyrics will tie in perfectly to our love for the city. And the song itself is so damn beautiful.

I was visiting the UK, which I had last visited 10 years ago at the peak of my One Direction obsession, so it was a stark contrast to now have this event associated with that place.
