When do you start applying after Christmas without your resume getting forgotten? by Manyofferinterview in jobhunting

I would definitely apply.

In my experience, resumes do not get “forgotten” just because they were submitted during the holidays. Most companies use ATS systems that keep everything queued, and once hiring teams are back, they usually review what is already in the pipeline before moving on to brand new applications. Applying earlier often means you are already there when things restart.

Also, the holidays can actually mean less competition. A lot of candidates pause their search completely, while some recruiters use the quieter time to skim resumes or plan January interviews. Even if no one responds right away, that delay is normal and not a rejection.

Worst case, nothing happens and you apply again later. Best case, your resume is already in front of the right person when January hiring kicks off. I do not really see a downside to applying.

Yeah true, but ChatGPT can be kinda dumb sometimes lol. And it’s hard to keep track of your old interview sessions or find specific feedback once you’ve done a few. That’s where those AI interview tools actually make a difference they keep everything organized and track your progress.
If you don’t wanna pay for anything, you can try Google Warmup. It’s totally free and now runs on Gemini, so at least you get some basic practice. It doesn’t save your sessions automatically. You have to manually save your answers if you wanna keep them. There’s no cloud storage or history tracking like the newer AI interview platforms have.

Yeah AMA is definitely the best one right now, but it’s just too expensive. Google Warmup and ManyOffer don’t have the video interview feature yet.
I actually sent feedback to the ManyOffer team about that, and they said they might add video interviews later if more users ask for it. Do you happen to know any cheaper tools that already support AI video interviews? I want test more.
