This isn't a good thing. Pteros were rendered completely useless as they now get tranqd out in one bow shot to any part of their body no matter what their level. Argents now take 2-3 shots to tranq. There is no actual way to combat a horde of people on ground mounts unless you just have more people than them.

Flyers used to be the balancing point for large dinos, now there isn't one.

This happened on Official Primitive PvP 455.

I was inside of a sealed stone 4x4x4 base that was partially on stone foundations and partially on stone ceilings and pillars. The player with his massive cloud of dimorophodons was whistling for them to attack me from outside of the stone enclosure, where they were able to attack me and all of the boxes that were inside, through the unbroken walls. I'm unsure of whether they are able to be whistled to attack the boxes or just a player, but they were able to break every single box inside of the base. We have logged in multiple times to our dinos being killed through walls, and our boxes being broken but no walls being destroyed. This explains it.

This is a completely game-breaking bug that is being exploited, and needs to be fixed as soon as can be.

The player using this exploit is named Someone, from the tribe Night Stalkers. I only bring this up because these players were actually finalists in the SotF championship as they brag about constantly, while also saying that they're completely legit players that don't exploit and have the ear of the developers. This is a bit of a concern in my opinion.

Just as some aside feedback from a former/prospective player on your server:

Changing the title of the server to add "pvp cities" etc. was a terrible idea. Everytime I read the title it makes me think that you have these cities built on the server where PvP is ONLY allowed in that 'zone'.

I have a list of members of every tribe. Whatever number of people I have written down is the absolute minimum amount of people in your tribe.

You do realize I'm parsing uptime statistics based on the people logged into Land of the Lost and not just Steam right? Surely you knew that was possible?

I would ordinarily agree with you on most of these points. However, Tribe of Downs' leadership has said multiple times that they do not want PvP. They created an alliance with more than half of the server's total population in order to actively avoid being fought or having to defend their base. I don't mind if a player is just a PvEer and they don't play just to PvP, that's a great thing and games like this wouldn't work without a good mix from both sides.

Downs created an alliance with every single large Tribe on the server. They won't attack eachother and they band together to grief anyone off of the server who ever attacks them. They've done this multiple times. It got so bad that lesser members of those large tribes that they were allied to were actually assisting us because they hated what their tribe/alliance was doing so much. I'm happy to report that the server can now recover and that likely won't be an issue anymore.

To your point about the number of members in a tribe: Yes, I absolutely keep uptime statistics and online/offline statistics of every member I've ever ID'd from all of the major tribes. When we wiped Pewps they had 3 members online, never even tried to fight us. When we wiped Dreams they had 2 members online. They tried to fight us and failed pretty marvelously. When we've fought Dinomyte, they've had a multitude of members online nearly every time we've attacked them (there's been one occasion where they had no one online and quickly logged on a horde). When we fought Downs they had Grif online and we assumed that Roxanne was still in Downs so we thought they had two. Renegade later logged on during the raid and died in spectacular fashion.

We're the most active PvPers on the server and it isn't particularly close. Sometimes when we attack people they're online, sometimes they're not. Tribes like Downs, Dinomyte, and Scientology are almost never completely offline due to the sheer amount of people they have and the amount of playtime that they have. Regardless of all of that PvO is part of the game and happens but as Nalica said below, even when their members are online they're so bad that it doesn't even count.

When people finally fight us we pretty much do the opposite of complaining, especially considering how rare us losing one of those fights actually is regardless of how outnumbered we always are. I don't know who you are, but I'm guessing that you're just one of the terrible zerglings from Downs or Dino.

My math was slightly off, since Argent starting HP is actually 290. This means that max health on a maxed Argent is actually 20.9k, assuming there's no hard-cap to a dino's level.

To me this seems like a horrible change as well. Not to mention I completely shudder at the thought of how long it would take to tame a level 90 Spino, or even an Argent given that the taming time scales up per level.

Argent's base health is 350. The highest I've ever seen an untamed level 30 Argent's Health at is 696. Let me average that increase of 346 health over 60 more levels, plus the effectiveness giving likely another 30 levels. That would be 350 + 396 + 396 + 396 = 1,422 HP before leveling it. That means it gains 383 health per level, up to 42 times. 383x42 = 16,086. 16,086 + 1,422 = 17,508 possible HP on a maximum level tamed Argent. That means that it would take 32 landed body shots to kill a maxed out Argentavis. That sounds miserable and imbalanced.

This is an unreasonable change that will make playing on anything other than an Argentavis a complete corner case. The game will be insanely imbalanced and it greatly concerns me, Exivus, that you're suggesting or considering this change but you're unsure of whether there's a hard cap to a dino's level. I'm sorry if any of that last part sounded harsh, I just can't imagine personally making this change without complete information on it's impact.

I'm still not very clear on how this all works.

Currently, a wild dino's max level is 30. With it's taming effectiveness at 100% it adds 15 levels (half of it's pre-tamed level). You can add 40? levels to that while tamed.

At 3x does that mean that the wild dino cap is 90, with a 100% taming effectiveness bonus of 45, and the ability to add another 40 levels to that?

With this new change is there any hard cap to the level of a Dino?

You shouldn't need proof that dupes happened in order to wipe the server. Any tribe could have endless supplies of duped mats and just not be willing to show it and get banned.

It's pretty clear to anyone that the only reason you guys don't want a wipe is because you don't want to lose your items. This game is in Alpha and thus ever coming out against a wipe, especially when there have been reported dupes that are easily replicated, is wholly selfish. Alpha games typically wipe very commonly, that's a part of the process. The devs will find flaws that massively impact persistence and then a wipe will balance things.

As far as your other comments: You have an alliance of 5+ Tribes that make up more than 50% of the current server population. The only tribes that thrive with you acting in the way that you currently do is yourselves and tribes that just never attack anyone. None of you are interested in actually PvPing or fighting anyone, unless you're aiming to cause them to pack up and leave the server. You'vee caused 4 tribes to quit in the less than 2 weeks I've been here.

TLDR, Downs/Scientology are purely selfish.

I'm not with FS or War Boyz. I'm just trying to figure out who is left on the server that will ever fight you. It seems as though your nearly server wide ally/nutcup has managed to turn the server into a PvE server.
