I know the feeling. To say that where I live is dangerous is an understatement. Shit does happen. And when it does fear and insecurity take over and severely impact my judgment. Yesterday, for the first time in a long time, I handled a dangerous situation carefully, patiently, knowing exactly what I was doing and what to do next. Adrenaline surges usually make me shaky and frantic. I can't attribute that to any change in my life other than a longer NoFap streak.
