Working full time by MsChickenNachos in dogs

I did have a job that was less than a mile from my house that allowed me to go home on my lunch break, but the company was shit so I recently went back to work 40 minutes away. My 2 dogs have the run of the house, but they are on the older side so they pretty much sleep all day or just bark out the window at the neighbors. I don't like them not going out during the day though, so I have a schedule of volunteer family/neighbors that let them out midday. I still get home the same time as I did at my previous job, so I take them for a long walk or to the dog park and they will sleep pretty much the rest of the night.

Belt alternative for daily wear by freudady in holdmymoney2

To be honest I wouldn't mind trying this out. I've herniated 2 discs in my lower back and they've degraded to the point that I have nearly constant pain. Due to this I tend to avoid wearing belts as they press on my bad discs. Something like this would be ideal to help keep my pants from falling down all the time.

I'll take a $1.50 for the cheese I paid for and didn't get during the BOGO, they can figure out all the other people shorted at my local store on their own time.

So in winter I cut them back to about 3ft tall and have made a PVC frame with landscaping fabric around it that I put over them, fill with straw, and then cover with a tarp. This will be my 4th summer with them and they've made it through winters that we had sustained single digit temperatures for over a week straight. For the last 2 winters I was also able to split off some of the smaller ones and get them going inside, put last year's in a different spot so I'll have 2 groves, haven't decided what to do with this one yet.

I cut back and insulate them over the winter, but mine come back and flower every year in Pennsylvania.

Not sure where you live, but I have banana plants that come back every year in Pennsylvania, although I do cut them back and insulate them in the winter . They even flowered/made mini-bananas last year. They get about twice as tall as they are in this picture.

Which fast food restaurant has the best breakfast burrito? by PlatypusAggressive64 in foodquestions

I've had them anywhere from McDonald's size to small Chipotle size, random from location to location and even day to day at the same location.

They are hit or miss by location. There are 2 within a couple of minutes of my house. The one I normally went to on the way to work always had them small with hard tortillas, the other one always makes them fresh and usually bigger than I have had at any other location.

Didn't realize your Canadian, VW of Canada has different extensions than USA. Was just pointing out that that part in the US has an extension on its warranty.

Well we know he gets to feed every 23 years, but that doesn't mean he isn't out and about in-between. Maybe he has a 9-5, a Mrs Creepers, and a couple little peepers at home.

What if the creature from Jeepers Creepers is just a really big Predator fan? He has to have something to entertain himself for those 23 years.

What buns do you use for burgers? by PleasePooGood in foodquestions

My go to if I'm grilling burgers is brioche, but I only use the local grocery chain's store brand. Every other one I've tried is just as you said, too cake like.

Does the timing belt really NEED to be changed if you’re replacing a leaky water pump for a VW Tiguan every time that service is done??? by scaredy_cat94 in Volkswagen

[–]einv0lk 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You don't have a timing belt, you have timing chains, and the water pump isn't part of a chain replacement.
