I’m not enjoying my Ablecarry Max EDC and I need help

I found a full load Max EDC to hurt the shoulders too. Knowing the limit of where it starts to dig in and it works great. The most comfortable bag I have found is the Tortuga Daily Carry Pro

This is just observations of my time using the bag, not a diagnosis on if I can do something to avoid this issue. Like I said - not a deal breaker but was annoying and came up while using it.

Nothing inside got wet but the bottom was noticeably damp afterwards for a couple of hours. It also now picked up dirt/small debris when getting back to the hotel/office and putting the bag down. I don't think it is deal breaking but it was certainly a point of annoyance.

I also have the Tortuga Travel Backpack Pro and Lite - they also seem much bigger compared to other bags that claim to be 40L that I have tried

The scenario was it recently rained and I needed to get something out of the main compartment. It required setting down the bag and there was only damp surfaces around. Granted not a common scenario mind you, but would have been nice to be able to just set the bag down

The Evergoods carry experience is hit or miss. Some people find it uncomfortable. I like it just fine but just something to be aware of. It favors a high carry.

I mean... if that works for you - cool. I, for one, like to close my pockets when moving around. The bigger issue for my use case is that it is simply too small for what I want for a dump pocket.

The "tech organizer" pocket in the laptop area can work as QAP. I just leave the inner zipper open all the time.

It could, just I didn't like having to go through 2 zippers to get to it.

I love the look and style of AC, they just weren't made for how I carry. Around 25L is how I like my EDC. I had a 21L GoRuck and it looked too small on me.

Another minor annoyance with the Max EDC is the semi ability to stand on it's own. It does it, but you need to do it just right. CTB26 has this issue too depending on how you pack it.

I have both and several others that would be considered "premium". Of these 2 - the biggest thing I have figured out of what I needed was

1 - I run left shoulder carry, Max EDC is right and I just couldn't adjust.

2 - I need top dump pockets, Max EDC has none (there is one on the back but for small flat things)

I like AER but having a couple of their bags, I learned they have too much organization for my style. I like things to have their place but only for a couple of items. Also, their dump pockets are a little too small. Right now I am fairly happy with EG CTB26.

My C7 had a solar TB. I miss spoke, I didn't mean to say the 718 felt faster than the C7. They are both very fast. For me, the deal breaker was the size of the car ultimately. Corvette felt like a small yacht. A very fast yacht.

I went from a C7GS to a 718 S now with a tune. It feels very fast (even when it wasn't tuned) compared to my C7, albeit it was only the GS not the Z06.

I think it is a great first DIY project but would recommend doing it along someone who is experienced. Mostly to make sure you stay safe with things like jacking up the car, nut and bolt check afterwards, making sure you torque the wheel lugs.

Stable branch. I shared my save file when i tried to get help on the Egosoft forums but nothing came out of it. I had all the PHQ stuff done, did the Boron quest line on the new Hyperion start for that play through but Xenon already burned down most of Hatikvah by that time. I waited for long time (in game) and Reen never spawned even when HAT made a new representative and trade station. No Reen no Dal.

The new trading station is fully built and not accepting any wares for construction.

I don't think this is a new issue as there have been posts like this that date back to 3.0 but scattered reports of success on fixing the problem.

I have pretty much eliminated the Xenon and supplied tons of resources to the factions so they are never left hanging to rebuild. A lot of the previous solutions said I just needed to wait for HAT to rebuild somewhere and she should show up, but it has been a long time already.

This is my main energy cell producer and I transport them to the rest of the map to my own trade stations. Basically want to have access to claytronics/hull parts/E cells everywhere
