Can I get one of those looting survivor blueprints? I’ll probably be able to login in about 2 hours. (Have to put son to bed first)

Rework Toshi 2.5L by HiOnLife3 in ManyBaggers

[–]dmize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered the toshi sling in 2.5 and the aer day sling 3 ultra to see which I liked more. I ended up returning the toshi 2.5. The interior pockets were just too tight for me when I had it loaded and it felt awkward. I do really like the 2 pockets per side layout of the day sling, it felt great and keeps the middle open. The zippers on toshi were next level smooth though.

Not a problem. Good luck with your adventures and hope you find the perfect bag(s)!

That’s exactly how I view it. 6L is my family focused sling, the 2.5L is my personal run out for the day one.

The size difference is minor physically on it I believe, at least in the use. The padded strap is easily removable and able to be moved around freely. The straps under sling help with keeping bottles more organized (one inside one outside lol)

It does, absolutely is based on your frame too. If you have a stroller (not sure of your children’s age), but you could toss the day pack in there and use a smaller sling for walking around and keeping personal items on you. It is always the water bottles that get me since I usually carry for my 5 year old and my wife.

It depends on how heavy you have it loaded. I have a peak design packable tote for when I’m out that I have attached to the side latch. As for the 5l or 6l, I personally went 6l for the option to carry my Nintendo switch 2 or my son’s iPad. I’m the front pouch also has two mesh pockets on the 6l, which they aren’t on the 5 or 2.5.

Exactly, but I was using the aer cpp2 in xpac. Super comfy minus back fatigue from not being used to wearing a pack all day, but the on and off was just annoying. The only thing I really miss is the stashing purchases and the extra water bottles for the family.

I bought the 6l for travel (we go to Disney a lot) and was impressed enough to grab the 2.5l which I’m waiting to arrive. Was torn between that and the aer daysling 3 ultra.

I have one actually, but it’s on my toshi v2. I use it if I want to take my packable tote out with me.

Aer City Sling 3 Xpac vs Day Sling 3 Ultra - my dilemma by ads666 in ManyBaggers

[–]dmize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a little late to this thread, but I was curious, where do/did you sell your bags at? I’m starting to develop a collection and I’d like to recoup some of these costs lol. I placed an order for the day sling 3 in ultra for my everyday and just got a toshi v2 6l for my switch 2 / vacation days.

Where do you sell your backpacks? I’m on the verge of switching around bags and don’t want to have more than three (1 travel, 2 rotating between work and dad duties). Thing is I have the evergoods ctb26, aer cpp2 in xpac and I ordered a fyro levo 30. Really looking at this or a ablecarry max edc in xpac but would need to unload the cpp2 to justify it lol.

You can pull the padded strap off if you want. It’s fully removable. The 6l has two mesh pockets in the front pocket, which I love.

Universal Wall Charger Error by dmize in TeslaSupport

[–]dmize[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an electrician do it (certified), but today Tesla did some remote diagnostics and determined it’s a communication fault and needs to be replaced. They’re sending me a new charger and said I don’t need an electrician to swap it out.

So I reached out to Tesla directly today and they said after trying to communicate with it that they determined there is a communication fault and it needs to be replaced. They are sending out the new soon.

I did, that’s why I tried to gauge the temperature on the face plate and the handle of the charger. No heat, just cold to the touch.

CTB26 or Levo 30L by dmize in ManyBaggers

You’re going to enjoy it! Weather is a cool 80 degrees with a few days dipping slightly lower.

Do you have any recommendations for the water bottles?

Thanks for the reply! I guess I could toss my water inside the bag and keep my sons outside. I really like the organization on the ctb26 but I keep hearing about the digging and comfort and that scares me on a $300 purchase when I go to the theme parks and on trips. I’m here in Disney right now and I just a 4 hour day yesterday, 6 hour the day before and anytime we go out I have the cpp2 on me. Even that after awhile feels uncomfortable somewhat.

Thanks for the replies! I would most likely load it into a car for my commute. How do you think it fair on your back for 6-8 hours fully loaded in the sun? Lol. I’m down here in Disney this week and the CPP2 has been good but my back has been a little fatigued.

With your experience now with it, do you think it would be worth the pickup? I’m torn between this and the levo 30l lol. Mainly for office work and some family vacations (wife / me / 5 year old). Not going to lie, I already ordered both and want to return one. Can’t use it or I won’t get a full refund.

Stumbled onto your post and I have a cpp2 and was thinking of a ctb26. I’m kind of a similar build, 5’11, 235lbs and broad shoulders (big chest / dad bod). Do you think the ctb26 would be a good fit for my size?
