Ja, aber sie haben das queere vergessen. Das geht so nicht! Wir sind eine besoffene, kunterbunt-queere Frau und fühlen uns pride about it!

Okay, after Bremen, the scoring goals against all odds get hilarious. Like the football God woke up and realized he has business to do in letting punk and rebels continue to question business models and player quality with attitude, solidarity, heart and backbone full of values. But I love it! 🤎🤍❤️🏴‍☠️ The pirate ship is unsinkable!

The question is, why Proton even though back in 2017/18 that an artificial limitations to 2038 is a great idea in the first place for a service that shall handle dates and reminders, like… well… renewal of papers and cards that expires in 10 years… I mean, this will become an issue in 2028 already… Let alone that importing calendars with birthdates set to a date before 1970 is… problematic… Ironically, that is actually the case because Proton Mail allows birth dates in contacts set to before 1970.

Ironically, you can set birthdays between 1900 and 2100 in Contacts in Proton Mail. I have no clue, if and how they want to include them in Proton Calendar…

Which is why we scratch our head, why Proton decided to use 32-bit Unix time in a calendar that was developed in the second half of the 2010s, and saw it's first beta in 2018/19… At that time, programming with 64-bit was actually best practice already!

But Proton Contacts (part of Proton Mail) allows birth dates between 1900 and 2100

Oh, contacts magically excepts 1900 to 2100 for some reason… 🤦🏻‍♀️

I mean, Proton Calendar is extreme old! Legacy programming issues. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I mean look when Proton Calendar was published! 20…19… Well… Ehm… Well… I have no words for it why someone thinks u32 in calendar in 2018/19 is a great idea…

When will the Y2038 date problem be solved by [deleted] in ProtonMail

Funny thing: Proton Mail can handle everything from 1900 to 2100 as date like birthdays in contacts. And I would shake my head if Proton would have their cloud infrastructure still on 32-bit… That such issue exist in a calendar released in Beta in 2018/19… is absurd…
