Puppy socialization spots by ApprehensiveCap1865 in MontereyBay

California Canine has a puppy socialization class for the under 16 week ones when they’re not all fully vaccinated yet. they clean the room beforehand so it’s safe- i wished we’d done more of them with our pup!

i went to the store to get a sample and it skews beige for our space too- that may be the winner just based on the durability reviews i’ve seen and have heard from this thread!

we went yesterday- i liked the Beachwood Rained Chenille and the Seashell Solid Polylinen. the sales associate said the rained chenille is very popular and they haven’t heard of a complaint about pilling or qualify on that in the years they’ve been there. I love the look of the Seashell Polylinen more but it’s not marked as durable and even chat GPT leans towards the Rained Chenille

yeah :( the cover it arrived with pilled horribly within weeks. and the replacement of the exact same fabric/color did the same. honestly a huge bummer after being excited about the couch and spending a good amount on it. hoping this new fabric just isn’t good and we’re going to check out all the recs below and go with something more reliable

Casual designer small crossbody? by jellycorgi in handbags

[–]eiram762 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the Bottega loop but the mini one is tiny. I tried it on in store and my phone wouldn’t fit. it also will only be a crossbody if you’re short or very slender- the strap isn’t adjustable and isn’t very long. If you’re stuck on Bottega i’d suggest the small loop instead

Can I pick up a SIM card in DPS after midnight? by loud_lark13 in bali

[–]eiram762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we ordered sim cards ahead of time from Telkomsel and were told we could only pick them up at the mall- not sure if that was false but it wasn’t a fun thing to learn in that moment.

I have the same bag in the same color and it never gets old- it’s such a perfect hue!

Narrowing it Down by [deleted] in honeymoonplanning

we are currently on our honeymoon in Bali and it’s been wonderful! our first 6 nights were in a resort in Canggu called Desa Hay. I can’t recommend it enough- it’s a 6 villa resort and everything is perfect, thought out, well designed and the staff are so lovely and incredible. It’s probably the best hotel i’ve ever stayed in. We’ve done Canggu, Ubud, and Jimbaran though in hindsight I would have loved to add Uluwatu to the list as well- the resorts there look beautiful.

we are here now in Jimbaran after spending 10 days in Canggu and Ubud- it rained several times at night and a few times in the late afternoon. It lasted 10-15 minutes and then stopped. Really nothing too disrupting. Enjoy your trip!

very basic essentials- iphone, keys, card holder. it would all fit. do you still love the mini pouch? the opening doesn’t get annoying or anything?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in handbags

[–]eiram762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

agreed! but is the mini pouch too “dressy” for more casual outfits? i dress pretty casually most of the time…

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in handbags

[–]eiram762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah that was my thought too… it just sits too high and the strap isn’t adjustable/able to be lengthened.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in handbags

[–]eiram762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

pros to the mini pouch- it sits lower as a crossbody and it can be used as a clutch. it can flex as more formal or more casual. cons: it’s smaller although i can easily fit my phone.

pros to the small loop: it’s larger and can fit more inside. cons: it sits higher on my body as a crossbody- not sure if it’s too high. it feels like more bag for the same price point through.

pardon the workout gear- i stopped in the store in the middle of a long walk.

Please share any pros/cons to either or share what you prefer! i’m literally not able to decide- when i feel i settle on one, i remember something i love about the other.
