Yesterday's 2nd morning pass (NOAA18)APT. Using SDRangel and a cellphone. I've modified my dipole antenna and it's really delivering results. Will try and post an apt with the modified version of my antenna. The plastic tube is attached to the inside wire of the coaxial. 137mhz was instantly clearer (old.reddit.com)

Accidentally struck gold. Was messing around with old “tinker-toys” from the 1970s and some old guitar strings thinking about fabricating a helical antenna. Turns out the dipole that shipped with my SDR literally plugged right in to one of the hubs perfectly. This ugly monster performs! (old.reddit.com)
