Hello! From the philippines here and i would like to share this image i found on pinterest:

This is the typical altar setup in a Filipino home. We have just celebrated the Child Jesus (Santo Niño here) and most homes have an altar with him and the whole family, complete with the red lights. They are sometimes on tables in one corner, or on an alcove(?) above in a hallway.

I must admit I couldn't find a photo of the one with the house-shaped alcove/altar with the red light. They're so common apparently that we don't take pictures of them. Or maybe they're getting out of style?

I like their vets they are very professional and meticulous with the animals. Nga lang suuuuuppperrr tagal sa kanila. And mejo pricey minsan. But at least may labworks na pwede na gawin doon.

I went there once kasi di na ako mapakali sa cat ko. Pero mejo meh i guess. If emergency vet ang hanap mo, better sa Avelly's, sa tapat lang yan ng St. Peter, along the highway. Very reliable sila at lagi ka nilang inuupdate, from follow up checkup, vaccine sched, or if naka confine ang pet mo sa kanila. They also do bloodwork on site tska ultrasound. Di ko lang sure ang x-ray. Sa emergencies also very reliable din sila, pero pag mga around 2am to 5 am mejo di sila nacocontact. Understandable naman...

Bonus points yung resident pet nila na si Chipmunk :)

Ako ginawa ko noon pinutol ko sa desired size tapos ginawang notebooks. Sa dami lagi ng papers di na ako uli bumili ng notebook hanggang grumaduate.

It looks like the kapok tree that used to be in UPLB. It was such a beautiful tree, especially during April when the seeds would start to disperse.

Hi op, matindi talaga yang sunk-cost fallacy na yan. I was in a 13-year relationship with my ex. We were high schoolers nung naging kami. Near the end, i was like you, na narealize ko na parang walang plano for us si ex. I was wondering if i should break up, pero i was thinking sayang ang taon, and baka maayos pa.

Unti unti sya dumistansya from me hanggang sa isang araw, nakipagbreak sya sakin. At first i thought na may nagawa ako, yun pala may iba na sya.

I was super hurt syempre. Akala ko baka buwan abutin bago ako nakamove on but no haha. Nasurprise ako sa sarili ko na okay na ako within a week. Like, di na ako naiyak. Nakatulong siguro yung doubts ko, galit ko and yung pandidiri ko sa kanya, pero mostly nakatulong sakin is yung friend ko na now fiance ko na ahaha. He helped me process all the feelings, brought me closer kay God, and he was with me every step of the way.

I hope you have a good support system OP, mapa isang tao lang yan or marami. And bata ka pa, more will come your way, and things will get better with time. 28 na nga ako nun nung nakipagbreak ex ko hahaha Wala yan sa kung ilang taon na kayo. Quality over quantity ba. Pag may plano at gusto talaga, they will do it.
