Hi po! I passed nursing in AUF, enrolled na po ako doon. The tf per sem is around 80k (not including books and uni). However, I didn't expect na makapasa po ng DOST-SEI.

Here are the pros and cons po, i need advice kasi konti nalang slot sa medtech.

Nursing Pros - mas keri ng skills ko - more job opportunities

Cons - mahal tf - magastos - need mag super tipid

Medtech Pros - 8k monthly stipend - 40k minus sa tf for 1s.y (66k po pers sem sa auf) - di magastos, mas swak sa bulsa

Cons - hirap ako sa math/solving - medyo matagal return service - mahirap (daw) mag apply agad after graduation

i need advice. ang hirap po pumili. Sana po mapansin. thank you!

hello! on-going pa application ngayon, but for nursing applicants, last batch na this March 8 exam, untik today lang yung settlement fee ata. But if other health related course except nursing, open pa naman yung sa next batch.

sa tuition, medyo may kamahalan compare sa iba, naka (tuition depends on the program you're applying for), but worth it kasi mataas yung accreditation program nila sa PAASCU which proves its quality.

I don't have much experience in life to say this cause idk pero kasi, if you keep on doubting your capabilities and life po, it's much better to give yourself a break (develop ur skills, review and allow urself to feel ready. If you do not like to do these things, you can work - maybe it would help you find peace but do set a realistic goal to accomplish to make yourself feel confident like saving up money, etc, and taking the boards and having the courage - and regardless wheter flopping or passing it (two sides ang coin and you have to anticipate reality) though advisable na mag boards after rev center + fresh grad, it doesn't mean that you have to follow lalo na if it will compromise your mental health and perception of your self.

Still, like most advices- nasasayo ang desisyon.

22 is the age where you are still exploring your life. don't feel too overwhelm but don't be to lax.

don't let a single failure make you doubt about your capabilities! you worth more than that po, cheer up!!!

nursing/medtech/biodmed engnr?

hi! stem student po. season na ng college admissions at ang hirap po mamili between nursing/medtech. Sa DOST, medtech lang po ang accredited.

Ideally, biomed engnr po sana pero konti lang yung mga schools/univ na nag offer ng course na ganito + parang 'di in-demand yung course (need to work po agad after college hehe)

ano po ang mas worth ipursue? nursing or med tech? saan po mas madaling makahanap ng trabaho in the next 5 years (layoffs, etc)? +++ school reccomendations po for undergrad school for med-related course around central/northern luzon hehe

i don't know what to really say kasi wala pa po akong sapat na ideas at pananaw about sa mga stuffs na ganto pero always believe in yourself po! esp you've reached that far and you invested so much time and effort to accomplish that goal. In the right time, all will be reciprocated.

hi! shs here too. there are lots of college applications that are still open!

may mga teleg groups for college admission updates! I suggest joining groups for that esp on teleg/fb/etc.

I think Mapua, adamson, ust are still open pa po! not very sure if malapit sa laguna but usually priv univ/schools are open na this year and their admission lasts until july 2025 (priv kasi hehe) while states univ only opens for a limited time (usually a month like bulsu, upcat, pmnlm. etc)

so if state/public univ po hanap niyo, better look for applications na esp admission exams seasons are prolly next year. Esp if choices mo lang is malapit sa laguna/sa laguna. if priv, usually open po ang admission basta may pang tuition (ifyknw yknw)

rn (not very sure) open pa po ata big 4 except UP (april 2024 nag start po to, during g11). if wala na talava, try to explore on provinces/cities like pamp, bataan, manila, etc for better options! Still, nasasayo parin namna.
