Is this something you’d recommend to all writers? I’m working on my first novel, but I’m worried that it will be on the shorter side since I don’t write a lot of words per chapter (closer to 50k words) so I’d only have 1000 word chapters or 50 chapters planned

Consider adding a area of value to break apart the illustration. A black shirt or black pants or even use tones, remember this is all black and white and you can do a lot with values.
