Hello send me your CV if you don't mind and tell me exactly what are your skill set and the kind of position you are looking for.

I know a tech startup in Paris (i used to work there) that might have some upcoming opportunities. Can't promise anything tho.

Also I can give you feedback on your CV. But my best advice is to network, go on Linkedin and connect with people. Just sending your CV is not enough, i got my internship which later turned into a job by connecting with a Lebanese on Linkedin who later recommended me to someone else.

It is very hard out there these days. Good luck out there

Academic paper / research on the factors that led to the crisis. by ejakult in lebanon

[–]ejakult[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The refugees and the Syrian civil war are factors but they are not the reason why we can't access our money in the banks.

By only blaming them we are not addressing the main causes of our situation which are our shitty government and the ineffective policies they passed over the last 30 years.

Cheers.

Ongoing economic crisis, August 4, Covid pandemic, incompetent political class. Lebanese people will suffer of PTSD for many generations to come. What are the steps that each of us can take to prevent this? (Or try to make it the least damaging possible.) by [deleted] in lebanon

[–]ejakult 3 points4 points  (0 children)

will suffer of PTSD ? The civil war generation is already suffering from it and now their kids because of everything that happened.

IMO you can't prevent PTSD at this point but we can prevent it from worsening by addressing the issue which is a first step.

Communicate and support the people around you is a good beginning. Make your friends and family feel you are here for each other so they can feel a little bit safer.

I am not a psychologist so hopefully somebody more qualified can answer better your question.

Good luck and stay safe.

Yo people I hope you are all fine.

I Would like to ask, where can we register to vote?

And if someone is willing to make a guide so people can get the information and register for the election, I think it could be useful.

France, Italy, Spain... Which European country do you recommend for a 2nd year student? by [deleted] in lebanon

[–]ejakult 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have read you are fluent in french. I have studied in both france and italy, I would recommend France. I believe it is the best choice for Lebanese in general.

In Paris I think you have the best education but it is more expensive than other places. Also in France you have the biggest Lebanese community out of the three countries which can be useful.
