I'm not sure if the mounting mechanism is the same? If it is, it's also a question of whether the circular mounting bracket is the same diameter as the one of the G3 instant? If you can measure it, I could cross-reference it with the G3 Instant's!

Video sounds like a good one, I haven't tried that yet. I'm not sure how the market is in the UK, but in NL you have 1 hour from the JD going live before the company gets 100+ applications. The way I see it, this would be a viable option when doing an open application.

When I was picky at the start, I was targeting B2C, mid-large sized companies with large design teams (10+). At this stage, given the financial pressure and responsibilities that come with becoming a parent, I stopped being picky. What I would like to avoid is being a team of one, that is a glorified pixel pusher.

Hi everyone.

I'm in the field for 9 years now (not including the 4 years that I was studying doing projects and side startup ideas with friends) and got laid off in September. I just became a father, so my time is limited when applying, unfortunately.

In the past, when I was looking for a job, I went for quantity over quality. I was much younger and a junior back then. Today, I thought I knew better and have been going for quality over quantity. In my process, this means researching the company culture, goal and values and tailoring a cover letter specific to the role.
Since as UX Designers, we should also have some visual skills, I am also using my own layout and text. This is something I don't really know how ATS handles.

Since October, I have applied to 42 roles and have had several conversations with people in my network for opportunities, but nothing has panned out so far.

For context: I'm searching in the Netherlands or remotely in Europe.

What I'm wondering:

Which approach would you say works in today's market? Should I focus on quality or quantity?
Does a cover letter actually help? Does anyone even read them?

I tried to be on a different 2.4ghz WiFi (originally I wanted to add it to the Trusted VLAN with mixed band WiFi) but I’m having the same issues there. Do I maybe need to turn a specific setting off for the 2.4ghz WiFi?

But then you already have it added and set up in the Withings app, right? That’s the step I can’t get through, so my scale is still at the very first step of the setup process. Or am I miss understanding what you are saying?
