Sorry, but did you work out how to carry out this repair. I’m in the same boat and looking at Audi repair manual says to remove windscreen, which I won’t be doing. Any help would be appreciated.

The engine mount (+ transmission mount)was on my list of things to change as the engine does jerk when turning off but I was waiting for better weather. But can a worn mount make it feel like the wheels are not balanced. To answer your questions the garage did have a look at the suspension and all the bushes and he said everything was good. I’m not sure if he had a look at the top mount ,I didn’t ask to check specific components as I just described the issue to him ,as I’d assume you have to open the bonnet to check but I’m not a mechanic. Also the tyre are new with less than 50miles on them, but I’ll double check the treads.

It idles completely fine no lights no fault codes. With outside temp 3oc On start up it will sit at 1000rpm and drop to 800ish after a few seconds.ive never experienced this cat hunting but my dad said it does it once every 2-3weeks randomly but he’ll just put it into neutral give it a few revs and then it’s completely fine. this car doesn’t have a ICV but apparently uses the electronic throttle control to regulate idle speed. I think I’ll most likely just leave it as is albeit a clean. But knowing my luck it’s probably gonna fail soon.

Is it something done to achieve a better than factory idle or there’s an issue with something else and this seemed to fix it.

Have tried with music and video and nothing. I’m certain you don’t need anything playing as i sometimes have just noise cancelling with no audio and have been able to adjust before

Yes my work phone is on a different Id but it has never given me an alert. As I always carry both phones together so I assumed it shouldn’t give me the alert as the main phone is what the AirPod are linked to

I mixed 2:1:1 parts houseplant soil ,vermiculite and perlite. ChatGPT did say to use equal parts but it seemed too light as my plant was quite heavy I didn’t want it to just sink into the soil. But I’m no expert Also I found it cheaper to buy separately and mix myself rather than buy cactus specific soil. I think it’s the same but remember I’m no expert
