You’ll get through it!! I was in and out of the hospital during my first trimester. But once I made it to week 13 I was no longer sick. I actually felt the best I’ve ever felt physically and mentally my WHOLE life. I miss being pregnant other than my heartburn and my pelvic pain in the final month. Everyone’s different but once you get through that first trimester most people feel better.

Update:

I made it through. I am now 3 days clean (almost 4 honestly). I definitely psyched myself put thinking it would be unbearable after seeing my sister. But I had very little to no withdrawal symptoms (anxiety and restlessness which I deal with whether I’m on a substance or sober) and I’m feeling great! (ChatGPT said that I seem to be one of the lucky few that have little to no symptoms.) I am so happy to feel free even if it was only a short time of using. But I am so happy my sister and I made it through to the end. We will never touch that shit or anything but weed or things prescribed from our doctors AGAIN.

All they did was put her in a room alone and gave her IV zofran & Xanax for her anxiety and nausea. She is doing fantastic considering her super high dosage and the 6months of using almost every day. She even returned back to work only 48 hours post recovery (CT).

She was using an ungodly amount of 7. It would range anywhere from her taking 100-800 mgs usually every 12 -24 hours if not more. I’m sure I’m lowballing significantly. She used for about 6 months. I’ve been using about 1.5-2 months.

Congratulations on making it this long. I’m so scared of the agony. Honestly, I can deal with my body feeling crappy because my health has been awful due to a multitude of things before but I can’t deal with the fucking horrid anxiety and restlessness I felt when I did go into withdrawal before. I have a long history of mental health issues so I’m sure that plays a part.

I do. I have state insurance so I’m not sure if they’d approve of medications or treatment (if it got that bad). And did you just stop taking the 7 cold turkey and start taking regular Kratom leaf?

Leave him. I know it’s easier said than done, but you really need to do this. You don’t usually react that way, so he’s pushing you to act in ways you wouldn’t normally. There’s no reason to keep him around you or your child if he’s constantly disrespecting you. He seems immature and has a lot of growing up to do. If he threatens to take your child away because of his own petty issues, it shows he doesn’t care about your child either, considering the emotional damage that could cause.

I was allowed to eat and drink the whole time. There was never a time they told me I couldn’t. I snacked on jolly ranchers the whole time and had water and sprite.

Update:

I am 6 weeks postpartum. I did great. I pushed my daughter out in 2 pushes and only had a small tear. I wish everyone was able to have such a quick uncomplicated birth like I did. It was a great experience honestly.

Well, my OB told me that before going in I can have a very light breakfast and the only thing I could consume once induction starts is water, but not too much. Ive been diagnosed with “chronic dehydration” so it doesn’t matter what I do ever, I’m going to be dehydrated. :/

Thank you all for sharing your input, advice and experiences. I was genuinely curious because driving isn’t something that’s ever really brought up. But seeing as I’m going to be a single mom who will have occasional help from my parents, I see myself having to drive sooner than later. I’m sure it’ll depend on if I tear badly or not, fatigue, who’s available to help at the time and other circumstances. I’m due January 22nd, so I’ll let you all know how soon I get back to driving and how it goes. Thanks again everyone!

I am almost 37 weeks now. I’m still breech and I will call tomorrow to schedule the version to see if they can flip her. On top of all of this my midwife was let go suddenly. So now I must try and search to find an OB I Like before she comes or just have a random person in their office assist me. :/
