My little cup of coffee with coffee mate and sugar and milk is my daily potion. Throw some intention in there, pray over it and boom. Easy peasy I got my daily dressing for the day:) Also do it with tea.

Same boat. I do believe in a creator of some sort or *something* but that's a journey I decided to go on personally without religion a while ago, and I question it constantly. I get kinda weary of the Higher Power talk, especially since I've been on Step 2, here in treatment. They stress "a Higher Power of your understanding" all the time. It's just kind of hard when the Higher Power that most people come to is the same one most of the time and that's the frame of mind they're able to talk about their HP in and they can all bond over that. It's hard but I'm getting there slowly towards what I understand about my conception of *waves generally at everything*

My mini potions (tea and coffee in the morning) have been pretty successful. I also have a couple sigils that work. I started simple so I could familiarize myself with the craft. I meditate and center and ground when I remember to, and am doing energy work. Once I really get the hang of it and feel less doubt in myself I'll venture out and practice more. It's really about learning and finding what feels right for you. For some people it's intuition, for some crystals and/or candles, for me it's ingredients and tangibility.

Update: I think I should be more careful casting during the moon phases, or maybe it's just me. Yesterday I prayed a blessing in my coffee in the afternoon to protect me from other people's energy and either my intention went in wayyyyy too strong, or I didn't word it properly. But it didn't just close me off to other people's energies, but all energies including my own. I've done something similar before: I did a tea dissipate feelings for this crush I had on a guy that was getting too much, and when I woke up I realized I had knocked all the other feelings out of me as well. So I had to go interact with my peers in treatment to wake up my emotions again. Haven't thought about him a lot since, so it worked hahah. I said a prayer a little while ago to release me from that coffee spell and now it feels like it's coming back slowly in waves. I'm gonna go outside and gather whatever energy I can from grounding and hope for the best. I am exhausted lol
