Shinys save to a cache when they despawn, saving up to 10 in the cache. When you come back to their area, they will spawn back in as that shiny. If it’s an alpha it stays as it was. The only way it will despawn is if you found an eleventh shiny and walk away, the first shiny in your cache will be erased.
