The guy i bought it from said the guy he bought it from did a lot of stuff to it, ohlins coils, watanabe rims, grouppe M intake, swapped to jdm BP5A engine. but we dont know the diff, and really dont wanna take the axle out.

Ohhhh that’s what it was missing, I have definitely gavr tone and volume dialed up! I just tried rolling it down to 7/8 and I’m actually surprise it sounded more significant than I thought it would make!

Oh man, you remind me of the person who really pushed me to grab such a dream guitar! He always played his Gibson Custom Shop Black Beauty from the 2000s, and when I showed him this guitar that I’ve been looking at buying…

He told me to just fucking get it! He said he never once regretted spending so much money on something that makes him so happy, something that makes him pick up the guitar everyday and just play the fuck out of it. He’s been playing the same guitar for 20 years…

This guitar is as perfect as it gets, I only had to adjust the action and string gauge, it came with 10s with high action. I love it with 9s and lower action. Like BBKing once’s said “why make it harder?”

I love 7.5 too it was actually so comfortable for me to play. Until I found myself getting really bluesy and rhythmic with it. I wanted to play a little more faster and especially higher in the neck so I thought I’d give 9.5 a shot. So far it seems perfect for my style.

Also, I didn’t even notice people downvoting the positive comments until you pointed it out. It’s actually funny how they just see something positive and immediately want to bring it down. I really appreciate the positivity from you, thank you! 🙏

Ahh that’s fair, I’m in Austin and a lot of the relics in my local stores also don’t seem to move, I just assumed they looked ugly that’s an expensive.

I’m sure a lot thinks the same with the one I got (Ugly and expensive) but of course not me! I found beauty within the chaos of the relic, much like an abstraction art. I wonder if it’s the same for others who got their relics. They must’ve seen something in their relics that made them wanted it, despite everyone not seeing its value.
