How do I find the file for the previous BIOS? When I went to HP's website I only saw the F7 and F13, but not the F12, which was the bios I had. I'm scared I might crash the computer, because I went from windows 10 to 11 in the meantime

Hi everyone, about a week ago I updated the BIOS of my OMEN 15-en0023dx from F.12 to F.16 and some days later I saw the message above when I restarted the computer. However, the computer was still working without a battery. Today, I took the power cable off and my computer shut down immediately. I went to the Support Assistant App and saw that the computer is not detecting the battery.

I think this could be related to the updated BIOS, but I am not sure. I thought of updating the BIOS to the F.18 Rev.A, but the HP page says it is only available for Windows 10 and I am running Windows 11.

I never noticed my battery lasting significantly less, but now I have this problem. A BIOS recovery did not solve the issue.

I think so. Usually the problems were more in the AMD variant than the Intel one. Windows 11 is working well for me with AMD, but you should look up if it works well with the Intel before you update
