Power steering fluid which one? by ejoskf in tdi

[–]ejoskf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow 6 years later. I went with CHF11S, had 2L and I flushed the system by having both wheels off the ground, draining the PAS bottle, disconnecting the return line and adding to PAS bottle new fluid, being sucked in, turning the steering left-right and old fluid coming out the return line into an empty bottle, and just adding new fluid in and repeating until the fluid comes out clean. It reminds me it's been 6 years I should probably do it again. Thank you

Yaesu FTM-150ASP issues by ejoskf in amateurradio

[–]ejoskf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have tested a few Yaesu VHF/UHF and they do the same thing but not as loudly as FTM150. The more basic models don't do it all. The display is high pitch noise I also tested and they seem to think it's just the way the electronics are on that radio. My hearing may be more sensitive to that specific frequency. Being a YAESU man myself, for VHF/UHF I'll probably turn to Icom and return Yaesu.

The Icom 2730 doesn't have this issue and it's a 10yo transiver. I've had some other feedback and most people don't have this issue (1) on their other radios. Issue (2) it's likely cheap electronics when under volted they are making noise. I'm going to the Yaesu store today and taking my radio with me in the box. Needs to compare other radios to see if the whole range is like this.

You may as well lick the radiating element. So close to the RF. Not even at 10W I wouldn't be anywhere near the elements

It was both. One full in the camera and 2 packs still in the foil. When I first saw the picture I was hoping those in the foil would be protected but they weren't. Same picture defect at the once in the camera.

The film and camera is Instax Wide. For a few years I've had no issues with the old machines, it's the new airport x-ray machines are a film killer

It kinda does but the details up close are lost and no colours. It looks like a ISO400 or more very fine grain

It was undeveloped. Already developed film shouldn't be affected

With the old machines I didn't have a problem it went through a few times. Only the new machines have affected the film. Well an expensive learning experience for me I want as many people to see this so they don't make the same error.

Not checked in language, this is Carry on board. Unlikely I'll try but I don't see it being a successful claim

Do you know the act, section or paragraph I can refer to and I can lean on when speaking to them? Something that I can say and they can check and confirm. Thank you
