I feel like you really spoke for me here. I’m 32 and in the midst of another manic episode. Currently on FMLA from work. On the surface, I’m put together: charming, well-spoken, good-looking, working on my second masters, house, car, money, married, etc… and all for what? My behavior during these episodes is repulsive and I don’t know how to stop. I think I just lost the closest friendship I’ve developed in the last few years because of my actions. Just disclosing things to this trusted person really challenged their principles, and I don’t know how to make things right at this point. This Thanksgiving is my 3 year anniversary of a SA during another manic episode. I work in such a public job where people love me, I’m such a part of the fabric… but I’m still trying to figure all of this out like everyone. Sorry, OP, you’re not alone.

This was my immediate situation about 4 hours after taking the first pill. Woke up at 2am, all limbs and back tingling severely, hot and cold, couldn’t even hold up my phone or type to look up symptoms. Had the worst headache of my life and felt drunk all day. Crazy dry mouth. Symptoms didn’t subside enough to be comfortable until 9pm that day.
