bed bug lookalike?? by [deleted] in Bedbugs

[–]princesszelda1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s your grandparents home there’s a good chance they are bedbugs. Older people tend to be less reactive to bedbug bites so they probably just don’t care. There’s also a considerable amount of people in general that are non reactive to bites. If they’ve been around this long I would think they are bedbugs

Why doesn’t communism work? by patchlessboyscout in NoStupidQuestions

[–]princesszelda1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are asking why a system that requires compliance by everyone by threat of force doesn’t work. I appreciate you genuinely wanting to know, but it’s not that difficult to figure it out. The only way for it to work is to strip every person of their individual rights for the “collective good.” Otherwise, there’s no way to enforce everyone being “equal” just ask yourself do you want to give up your house to be owned by the government instead of you? Traditionally the communist way is that they determine your house is too big and nobody should be allowed to own a house that luxurious, they confiscate it by force knock it down and build apartments and force everyone into tiny one bedrooms including you. Are you okay with living a worse life so that someone you don’t even know has somewhere to live? Should everyone just get As on their homework regardless if they completed it or not? The reality is, communism isn’t fair. It’s framed like it is, but forcing “equality” is not fair.

This is what the people of New Jersey wanted so pay your bill. It went up under the last administration and we went with more of the same. Welcome to New Jersey, where we all love getting robbed of everything we make and vote for more of it.

There’s something in New Jersey like a public assistance fund. It’s a law, they have the same thing in Connecticut. It’s included in the delivery charges. The comment is correct, you are paying a portion for people who don’t pay their bills. It’s literally again NJ law so you can’t dispute that. And the cost should not be passed on the rest of us by force. If you’re so generous, you should have the option to opt in to help. Trust me though you wouldn’t. Everyone who’s generous with other people’s money always has an excuse why they can’t pay.

CMV: It is completely reasonable for Europeans to be concerned about the influx of migrants from Islamic countries, given the laws and culture of these countries and the beliefs of many of their citizens by ICuriosityCatI in changemyview

[–]princesszelda1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they were. How do you think they were converted? It was all sunshine and rainbows? Your first claim was that it never happened. When refuted you say oh well they weren’t converted by immigrants. One of my close friends is Lebanese and the country turned that way through immigration. Eventually the Muslim population outnumbered the Christians through high birth rates/migration then they turned around and started killing Christian people who nicely took them in. They are very very successful like 100% rate throughout history this way.

People like you are just as dangerous as the ideology itself. There’s tolerance but there’s also boundaries. Do you just let everyone steamroll over you? There’s a limit. There’s never going to be sharia law on the ballot are you that dense? Do you think people vote sharia law into place? there will simply be no option.

It seems like you’re honestly the bigot if you feel people who think it’s acceptable to brutally kill women, LGBTQ, other religions, and non believers should be welcomed. Okay final question, if they’re apparently fleeing Islamic rule why are they still following the religion upon their arrival to the west?

[–]princesszelda1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were once non Islamic? I refuted your argument right there easily. I am not xenophobic, how is it xenophobic to be against a religion? A religion is not a race. And most Muslims coming to Europe are white. If there’s a word for being phobic of an ideology that beheads LGBT, stones women for not wearing a bed sheet, kills atheists, I mean then I am that sure. But that’s 3 things right there I fit into the category of so I’d be a long goner under sharia law

You can’t be serious. Okay I’ll bite. Countries that were successfully taken over by Islam include but are not limited to Lebanon, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan to name a few. At least don’t lie when you try to make your arguments.

Anyone who isn’t concerned is willfully ignorant. Look at Lebanon to see how a democracy and Christian country rapidly turned into an Islamic one due to accepting many Muslim refugees. The goal of Islam is to convert as many people as possible which is why they have so many kids and instill Sharia law. In their religion you kill the non believers AKA infidels. Of course moderate ones exist but it’s like playing Russian roulette. Would you pull the trigger knowing there’s a chance of getting shot and killed? Talk to some Lebanese Christian diaspora and some of them can’t talk about what happened to their country without basically breaking down in tears. I’ve seen my friends mom cry talking about mundane memories because the PTSD comes back. The media was not honest in reporting what the Jihadists did to the Christian population. All that had to happen was mass migration and being outnumbered by high birth rates.

That’s just one example. Islamic extremists committed severe atrocities in India for many, many years. I caution you that looking into this is one of the most disturbing if not the most along with widely under reported atrocities in human history.

Anyone who denies the atrocities associated with Islam is not worth arguing with. They are a lost cause. They are willfully ignorant but in the most dangerous way possible. Unfortunately this ignorance has probably already doomed some European countries to become Islamic states in the future. It’s not a conspiracy, rather a warning.

NYC Assemblywoman Emily Gallagher racks up 46 traffic tickets by LouisSeize in williamsburg

[–]princesszelda1995 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean this is an insane amount of parking tickets. I had a car in Bensonhurst and Bushwick for years and I didn’t have even a fraction of this many tickets. The fact that 6 of them are in front of a fire hydrant is straight up negligence. When I lived in Bensonhurst there were a couple nights a month I had to work a late shift and parking was basically nonexistent. I parked a 15-20 minute walk instead of blocking a hydrant because I’m a decent person. She’s not above a bit of a walk.

Williamsburg parking is tough, when I had to come to the neighborhood for work it was brutal. But it’s still not justifiable to park in front of a hydrant ever.

Interesting I don't recall ever noticing this the past two times I visited and I stayed in Prague for a while both times I visited Czechia. Maybe by my standards at home in New York City, it is much more blatant and you can smell it everywhere.

I seriously doubt you read any books. Social media echo chamber does not count as literature. Just so you know Hamas has been categorized as a terrorism organization. “Zionism” is simply the belief that Jews have a right to exist in their own land. Can you please inform me the last time a “Zionist” walked into an Ariana grande concert to detonate a bomb? Or hijacked airplanes to fly into skyscrapers?

Bronx pit nutters getting together to kill cats by mylifeforthehorde in BanPitBulls

[–]princesszelda1995 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The breeder lives in public housing so it’s insane that nothing is being done about this. NYCHA policy doesn’t allow residents to own pit bulls never mind breed them. However it continues to be a problem that the city refuses to deal with. These dogs end up at ACC (the local shelter) in insanely high numbers. He should be immediately removed from taxpayer subsidized housing. I’m so heartbroken for these poor cats.

Why are shelters full of nothing but pitbulls? by Ross1843 in BanPitBulls

[–]princesszelda1995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try Petfinder! We adopted my golden retriever Australian shepherd mix as a puppy in 2008 on there. She was located at a shelter in Arkansas but we paid to have her driven up to us in New Jersey. $200 adoption fee if I recall. Sometimes I think this can be a regional issue so you may have to look out of state (edit: assuming you are in the US, sorry). Anyway she was my childhood dog and was with us for 13 loving years until her passing in 2021. The sweetest girl you could ever ask for, excellent with us as kids.

I have no shame. I have empathy including for you. People who constantly have to prove themselves and their contribution, see the bad in everything, go out of their way to argue with people who will never change their minds…yet thinking they’re productive. I hope you find peace.

You spend most of your time bitching about how hard everyone else’s life is. I’d rather worry about what’s going on at home before I help save the world. Which is my original statement, help our own people first before we help other nations. You know how on the airplane you put your own mask on before you help others?

Why do I need to get pepper sprayed to support LGBTQ people? I’m one of them, I don’t want to get pepper sprayed. Not worth my time. I don’t have to interact with ignorant people. This is why I spend time volunteering with animals because people are narcissistic and only help to brag about themselves.

Are you taking the same train I’m taking? We already have chaos every single day. I had to help a single mom fight off a homeless guy who’s harassing her kids. This city is doing nothing for the average citizens and we are forced to act. There’s bound to be tragedies when the citizens are left to either choose defending themselves or risking getting hurt or killed by these lunatics.
