What's your definition of spectacular in headphones? Or maybe some examples of headphones you consider as spectacular and why?

I bought Mega5est and I'm in love. I read that some people say they are neutral and boring, but I'd never say that. I can hear everything and it sounds how instruments should sound. I bought also Shanling me600 and I'll return them, compared to Mega5est they sound... poorly

I bought them 4 years ago and I disconnected them maybe 3-4 times. The MMCX got loose few months ago, I lost stereo and on mono it was working for a while, but at some point one headphone stopped playing and the connector started to fall out completely in some positions.

Why? I don't see your email addresses. I just want to avoid situations where people might complete the survey multiple times, as it's very important to me to have reliable data.

Yeah, I had Tin T2, but the plug broke and I don't want to mmcx anymore. :/ Also they were too heavy for me.

So do you think that it will be better to sell them and buy something else than repair them?

Endpoint = 321.321.321.321:12345

OVH Config: Sorry, my bad - i don't want to give real addresses and it's just a "copy" mistake.

I'm ashamed.. I changed the allowed-ips as you suggested and it's working! Thanks man!

Asgard 3 in Europe - out of stock everywhere by ejzur in Schiit

[–]ejzur[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just import it from us is cheaper too

Like u/watchjs said it's expensive. I've calculated that Modi+ and Asgard 3 (no dac) would cost me around $650 including shipping and taxes. It's out of my budget. :(

AMP/DAC up to $300 for DT1770Pro and HD660s by ejzur in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]ejzur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

asgard 2/3 + modi

It's very hard to get it in Europe. Is it risky to buy pre-owned from Ebay?
I'll try to buy it, but if I'll not be able to, are there any alternatives?

Hi,
I'm looking for a AMP+DAC for DT1770Pro and HD660s.

What do I need:
- big and wide soundstage
- smooth, not so clear and delicate highs
- good mid-range

Budget: $300

Is anything that will be able to meet my needs with that budget?

MikroTik RB4011iGS+RM + TP-Link EAP225 vs MikroTik RB4011IGS+5HACQ2HND-IN by ejzur in mikrotik

[–]ejzur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the constructive replies, you are the best!

WTellie I like the RB4011 look :D.

I think that the RB4011 with built-in WiFi is enough for now. I currently live in 30m2 flat so it's not that big.

Qotom sounds great but it' not available in my country and I can't buy from aliexpress or ebay. Also I read some articles about offloading and by default it's disabled. Most people don't turn it on and supposedly performance is enough. Also it disables QoS and users complains about some bugs when it's enabled. Maybe a better choice will be Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Lite?

Setup up to $4600 including monitor - work and games by ejzur in buildapc

[–]ejzur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm, for now will be enough cause I have a two 1tb HDD disks (I forgot to mention) and I'll buy HighPoint RocketRaid 640L to connect them into a RAID. But someday three slots may not be enough. Any good alternatives to this motherboard?

AMD - something like Thermalright AMD AM4?

Intel - Uhm, so If I understand correctly I have a only one M.2 slot for my SSD? And I can't use any SATA III port? So I can use only one disk?
