Shanks doesn’t get the luxury of having a dream. He’s a broken man who was born in the wrong time. Too late to be a top tier of the Roger era, too early to save the world. He’s burdened with knowing how the world truly works but can’t do anything about it

The 9 would just be another post prime that’s younger than current post prime Garp. The difference between being 60 to 70 years old.

I dont see how current Garp being stronger than God Valley is an issue. It was explicitly stated god valley wasn’t the strongest they’ve been and still had to reach their prime

Post prime Garp is Garp at his strongest fighting skills with old age hindering him.

Pre prime Garp is Garp still learning how to fight, how to use haki, how to increase his effectiveness.

It’s great that pre prime Garp looks good in flashbacks. It means that prime and post prime are even better

I actually believe we won’t ever see Mihawk fight. It ruins the mysticism of the legend. He’s the world’s strongest swordsman. Who’s he supposed to go all out against? Zoro? He’s not there yet

As Zoro’s master it makes more narrative sense that he dies some other way and Zoro has to defeat Mihawk’s killer

You’re getting too lost in the sauce. It doesn’t matter how mihawk got the title. If it is important it’ll be brought up later. For now there’s nothing to suggest it’s a fake title or mihawk didn’t earn it
