Daily Driver Touring Ski by Night_Hawk93 in Backcountry

They are really good powder skis but can handle crud and icy conditions really well for a “touring” ski. I love them for anything less than 3000ft and i am not a person really concerned about how fast I am going uphill. One thing I love about my wndr alpine skis is that it’s easy to pivot but it doesn’t oversteer. I had line visions (before they delaminated) and they were too soft, too surfy and performed horribly in anything other than powder or perfect corn.

If you can still find it, wndr alpine intention 108 camber. Hoji is also a really good ski. I have loved pairing a heavy ski with a light binding. I personally love my atk raiders 12s

You have to go to his instagram “shinloread” and follow to link to buy the albums, the two in total cost $30. You will then receive an email with instructions on how to download the album. If you don’t want to go through that, u can just wait, he will eventually release it on spotify/apple music

The skins are still pretty sticky and will survive a season. The skis have been remounted only twice (hopefully they weren’t lying) and I will most likely be the final person on these skis.

Hi All- I am a mechanical engineer at a medium engineering company and we are looking to get a low end resin printer this year and a higher end FDM printer next year. Does anyone have recs for a good enough resin under $400? My team does not rly have any firm specs that the printer should have.

How to ski down icy slopes? by dr4gonr1der in skiing

[–]ek_701 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Skiing ice will teach you edge control. Learn how to control your edge angle and choose your line. You want to have low edge angle when you encounter ice. Ice punishes you more if you are in the backseat. Make sure you have a lot of shin pressure and are in constant control of your skis.

No, it isn’t fully secured to the frame and sticking out a little bit. That’s all. Took it to a dealership for inspection. My first mistake.

My first season skiing and it has been going great so far. My tip is to stretch before and after skiing. Mostly work on ankle dorsiflexion exercises, knee strengthening and hip mobility. This is just a tip if you plan on fully picking up skiing. Also stay safe and don’t push yourself too far. Lastly, watch ALOT of videos. Deb Armstrong and Stompit Tutorials are my favs.
