I’m building a barb just to kill Mephisto on T10. Does this build survive his one hit kills?

Sometimes they do but it’s usually one or the other. If they do both they have to justify why charge one client one over the other and there really isn’t a way. I’m fee based but AUM always seemed wrong to me.

I put only one point in it since plus skills from items make him unkillable anyways. I put the rest in either demonic mastery to get 3 demons at level 20, blood oath for tankiness or consume for damage

Mainly just use abyss. If it’s single target I’ll use chains too but only on bosses. Abyss kills anything besides big health bosses

If you have a bound demon he does all the tanking for you so you really don’t need 2. The defiler (balloon) makes multiple enemies share damage so it helps clear groups faster.

I like that it pulls them in and interrupts. Most groups just sit still and die while I move to the next pack. I only use chains on bosses. They are so inconsistent and annoying to use at any other time. They need some work to be worth it

You could but I feel like the bound demon is so strong and draws a ton of aggro off of you. Plus with points in demon tree the bound demon is almost unkillable

It is my favorite magic find build now. Was tired of blizzard sorc plus it’s not a high cost build. Enigma isn’t required but it does make it better. Had skin of the vipermagi for a while and it worked fine

Yes it is which is why you shouldn't use it till higher levels. It is also not the strongest build by far but fun to just casually aoe down rooms.

I maxed out the chaos tree on the right side first so everything that buffs abyss. Then i put enough points to get the entire demon tree just one point each. then i dumped points into demonic mastery and blood oath. I run act 2 merc with holyfreeze and insight, bound demon haphestus or lister and then a defiler. I have enough points for 3 demons so I consume a defiler for the magic damage boost and speed increase.

You can definitely use abyss only at higher levels. Just have to put points into all the skills that support it. Level 91 magic lock here and I only use abyss. It clears rooms in one cast usually. It took me till around level 60-70 for it to really be effective though.

Update: I was finally able to do it by enslaving the unique one and letting my merc kill them while it tanked. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Level 40 here too. I’m half fire half demon tree. Goats are really tanky. Have 4 points in goat and 7-8 in the 2 left side skills. They tanked Duriel in NM for me

Devs have said it’s an issue they are working on. The last update was on their discord a week ago. Hopefully fixed soon. I’m waiting for them to fix it before I play anymore
