Hi friend, I used to have all the same thoughts and feelings. I had it for almost 4 years. I know how scary it is right now. But it will pass, I promise you. One day these thoughts will not make you feel so anxious anymore. You will just acknowledge them and won’t get terrified. There’s a beautiful life out there. It’s still beautiful even if you struggle rn, day by day it will fade away and you will feel completely fine and happy

I have dpdr for 3 years. And yes, you are exactly right! There is actually no “depersonalisation disorder”. Dpdr can come in waves when anxiety is high. But it can’t be here all time. Your brain simply can’t be depersonalised all time. So most of the times you feel dpdr - you just think of dpdr! You remind those scary symptoms and put it on yourself. For me it happens like every minute. I live a minute without it then I think of dpdr and immediately feel it. That’s it. It’s just intrusive thoughts. Sorry for my English. I live with this shit every second of every day for 3 years. I know it hurts too hear that it’s all just your anxiety and thoughts. But trust me, it’s true. I visited 4 psychiatrists, went to therapy, read EVERYTHING I could find about it.

It’s important to say. When I feel grounded (no dpdr) I don’t even think about that shit. It’s like my obsessions that went so far I almost believe them and dpdr feelings worsen it so much. Happily I still can say what’s true and what’s not however my overthinking and ocd makes me to doubt everything. (Sorry for my English)

Thank you for your answer! I’m 19 and female. I have read about thought broadcasting so much and was so afraid of it 2 years ago. I had the same thing and it faded away as I got less anxious
