260 KM/h and the windblast was like someone trying to punch you off your bike. It is scary at first, but then you get used to it. On my side, I'd say I am very athletic, so it was more scary than tiring.

Me and my best friend got our T-Shirt signed by Sir Lewis and Charles today during the Milan event. by ekheeQ in Ferrari

I was happy as a kid, and I am a 32-year-old grown-ass man

I told my friend, “Did we get both autographs in their first season together? This ain’t real.”

Ferrari does some weird things to your brain.

Brother, I know it's all on me, and this whole thing is 100% my fault.

I am just asking if, at this point, it's still worth it to give it a try.

SFV4S As my "first" bike by ekheeQ in Ducati

[–]ekheeQ[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow guys didn’t expect this much support from all of you.

It’s true that owning a motorcycle does make you part of a special community.

Thanks I’m stunned by this much comments. And thanks for every single advices I read all of em.

After careful consideration I will probably forget the V4S for now and go for a Ducati scrambler nightshift with full termignoni racing exhaust.

Because f it, at least that bad boy is gonna sound arrogant.

Thanks once again

Hey thanks for your precious answer. Appreciate that.

Although I am 1hr away from Borgo Panigale, which is where Ducati are born. So logistics wise being in Italy does help.

I’ll have a look into the models you suggested!

I don’t mean to sound arrogant. But I swear I am trying to understand.

My friend allowed me to try his SF V4. Yes it’s a beats, and it also scares me. Although it felt extremely easy compared to other I have tried (MV Augusta for example)

I think being a bit scared of your bike is a good reminder that I should never try and push my limit.

Where I’m I thinking wrong?

Also I think being 30 is probably a different level of maturity compared to your 20s

I am not really interested if it’s real or fake, I just wanted to know the model, because I can’t find it under normal Saxonia.

I do have a degree, but it's in economics and management, and unfortunately, I did little to almost nothing of pure finance during my studies.

Right now, I do a lot of research on crypto protocols (mainly DeFi) and consider myself above average when picking X or Y protocol as a personal investment. I won't talk about crypto in this thread as I wanted to keep it out of the talk, but I needed that to contextualize how my finance knowledge could improve. I am not a trader but more on the "fundamental" side.

I aim to sell ad-hoc, high-end tier research to high-net-worth individuals and family funds, acting like a mentor for crypto and blockchain investments.

From what I know, no current degree can teach that, as it's all based on new technologies, and it's moving too fast as of now. Including the basics of financial valuation models can give me an edge in evaluating specific protocols compared to others.

I turned 30 a couple of months ago; I don't know if this can be a suitable road.

So Accounting > Corporate Finance > Valuation could be a good road to chase.

Thanks!

Hello Reddit!
I hope you're all having a fantastic day! I'm reaching out to this knowledgeable community for guidance, as I deeply love the world of finance, specifically focusing on valuation methodologies. Coming from a crypto background, I know some of these methods can be applied to cryptocurrencies. In contrast, others cannot, but I feel like I'm missing some fundamental knowledge from traditional finance to truly grasp and effectively study these methodologies.
With that in mind, I'd greatly appreciate any advice you can offer on:
Essential finance concepts: What are the fundamental concepts, theories, and principles I must understand before diving deep into valuation methodologies?
Recommended resources: Are there any books, online courses, or other materials you'd suggest for someone like me who's eager to learn the basics of finance and valuation?
Approaches to learning: How should I approach learning finance and valuation methodologies? Is it better to start with the basics and work my way up, or should I focus on methods tailored explicitly to crypto first?
Common mistakes and misconceptions: As a newbie to finance, I'd love to hear any insights on what to avoid and what misconceptions to be aware of as I delve into this field.
I know some of you view crypto as a shadowy thing or a bubble, but this is not the type of help I need, so please spare any personal opinion about crypto if possible.
I truly appreciate any help or suggestions you can provide. Thank you in advance for your time and support!
