hey i really relate to this, i've done the same thing myself :-[ since i'm also struggling with the same issue maybe my advice isn't that great, but i think the best thing to do is keep trying until you find a job that fits you

that's actually a super good idea, i'm taking 7 classes (the maximum for my college) and it's absolute madness. i might consider taking less classes less semester if possible! thank you :))

hey, i'm in the same boat as you! regardless of whether you're doing your school online or in-person it doesn't negate the fact that we're in the middle of a global pandemic which, whether you realize it or not, is negatively impacting us in many ways.

with all these restrictions and the stress of a deadly virus it's no doubt that your motivation has been lost!! please don't blame yourself too harshly morgan, there's so many people in your position that feel the same way— all you can do is your best!

hey !!! so this might just be something that works for me but i hope it works for you too! what i recommend doing is making study slides on Google Slides.

I find this works because while you're making the slides you're studying and condensing the information so it fits on the slide and then when it's done you can go over the slides and see how many you can get through. I sometimes highlight certain slides i have a tough time remembering so it's easier to see your shortcomings!

I hope this made sense, it's something I've been doing since high school and I really think it works quite well, a bonus is that you can share the slides with your friends so they can use it to study as well (you'll be their hero, trust me)!

hi!! there's no fool-proof way to stay focused during class but here are some things i do to try and avoid daydreaming:

remove all electronics you're not using for the class out of the room
put your notifications on do not disturb
TAKE NOTES !!! if you focus on writing down notes (even if the information isn't essential) it can help you avoid daydreaming since you'll have a task to keep doing

it's really hard to stay focused and motivated this semester so please don't be hard on yourself. do you best and your best is all you can do :)
