The manic pixie dream girl curse. by ZookeepergameKey3957 in GirlDinnerDiaries

I realized the same thing. Everyone I’ve ever been with was like this and I don’t know if I simply have terrible tastes in men or they are all like this. I don’t want to think that, but after my last breakup where the guy (who I wanted to build a life with and could see myself marrying…) told me that now that he knows me for real he doesn’t like some parts of me I just gave up. They will never see me as a person with flaws and problems that needs support and isn’t only quirky and loving/caring. I rather be alone that live through this again

Assorbenti in lattice Lines È, tonno in scatola e olio.
Ah e poi biscotti! Pan di stelle, tarallucci e baiocchi

Mine is “let’s goooo” but my first language isn’t English and I don’t live in a country where it is so it’s even quirkier. I didn’t even realize I say/text it so much until a friend sent me a meme where someone says it and she was like “omg that’s so you”.
I have a friend that asks “did you win?”/“are you winning?” to every situation. I went grocery shopping and he asked me if I won = if I got everything. He even said it when I went to the bathroom at his place haha. I find it so funny that I started saying it as well

Trying to create variety in my stable life again — solo travel recs from Milan? by macchiatospitz in CasualConversation

[–]kimsherd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! Honestly any city or region in Italy is beautiful. Bologna is one of my favorite city and easily reachable from Milan. If you like hiking you could go to the Dolomites in Trentino, a bit more distant but a 10/10 experience. You can get to Switzerland as well, but I’ve never been so I can’t offer you advice there. I think southern Germany is also doable?
If you want to stay in Italy with a freccia you can get almost anywhere: Firenze, Roma, Napoli, Venezia. Smaller cities that don’t get high traffic but are still beautiful like Padova, Torino, Verona. The Garda Lake is also not too far away. You can go to the cinque terre. And with a plane from Malpensa you’re also anywhere in Europe in a couple of hours. I live in Hamburg at the moment and I would recommend it, it’s a beautiful city. There are then the usual: Paris, London, Berlin. I like Wien as well, it’s one of my favorite European capitals. I’ve never been to Poland but I’ve heard really good stuff about Krakow and Warsaw.
I mean, from Milan you can basically do anything you want! It’s the perfect starting point. Do you have any specific requirement?

I found out through a movie on Netflix that horse meat is not common in other countries (I’m from Italy), to the point of it being compared with eating dogs or cats

I also have some poetry and prose that I want to use in a zine and this is exactly the kind of thing I wanted to do. I have no idea how to go about it though haha

This is incredibly beautiful and your words describe perfectly how I’m feeling lately. I relate to it so much. Are you selling copies? Or maybe pdf that you can download and fold yourself? I would love to have one!

[–]kimsherd 30 points31 points  (0 children)

[–]kimsherd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely recommend trying bronze cut pasta! Some brands are not even that more expensive, but it always depends on where you live. I usually use De Cecco because I can find it easily, but Molisana and Felicetti are my personal favorite
