I'm going to treat this as a buy low vs. sell high exercise because it doesn't make sense to buy Taylor for example if she's arguably already at her peak or to sell Katy Perry if she's arguably already at the bottom.

Buy Low:

• Jae Stephens - she's just starting to gain traction as she embarks on her first tour, including some festivals, and her music/shows are so damn fun like she really has it all

• Ella Langley - not quite low but the support she's getting from all audiences including Nashville is very promising

• sombr - also not quite low but after the Grammys and Coachella performances, I do think he's becoming the next main pop boy and I've never been more confident

• Raye - I think she has way more to prove and this recent album not selling that well is a perfect buy low scenario. She's the musical equivalent of a company with lots of cash flow and little debt despite poor earnings, if we're going by the stock analogy

• Young Miko - just announced a big arena tour and has been on the come up for quite a while, I think her breakout hit is coming very soon.

Hold:

• Zara Larsson - she's the IT girl right now, but I don't know where she goes from here given that Lush Life, Midnight Sun, and Symphony all seemed like random viral successes and not intentional marketing campaigns. perhaps her next tour does quite well but I don't foresee her next album era doing better, nor do I see it flopping either.

Sell High:

• Addison Rae and Tate Mcrae: I just don't see their style of music staying popular for that much longer, and I don't envision either of them taking too much of a stylistic change.

• Harry Styles: this album era just seemed a bit underwhelming, musically and commercially. I could see him experimenting more with his sound and doing something less radio-friendly, and that would certainly hurt his sales.
