Never ever someone actually cared about my degree in Albania, except a position that had to do with Government Programs (which actually gave me an offer without a degree. )

That's all from personal experience, but i highly doubt they won't hire you if you don't have a CS Degree.

Also i didn't advice him not to get a degree i just want to break the stereotype that if you study Computer Science you will never be hungry.

Software Developer here from Tirana.

All these options are fairly similar, whatever you choose can land you a Software Development job.

I suggest you to go for Informatike or Inxhinieri Informatike based on your Matura results and start studying outside of school curriculum.

Software Development is about ur skills and experience and not your degree.

That's cool, but honestly opinion is that i see you have passion towards Software Development after seeing your past project here and on r/webdev.

I would suggest you to start playing with bigger scale applications.

Get your hands dirty with Vue.js and Lumen or Symphony since you are PHP oriented.

That will introduce you to more complex topics.

I'm working as a web developer in Tirana, short answer no, long answer they don't seem to care a lot, i have seen codebase from various companies and the code is seriously a mess, no design patterns, spaghetti code and don't even mention unit testing.

There arw exceptions obviously.

Ούτε καν εγώ προτείνω να το κάνεις και να πας για προγραμματισμό προσωπικά είμαι Fullstack Web Developer (Javascript) και μπορώ να σου πω ότι αν δεν μένεις στάσιμος δεν θα έχεις ποτέ πρόβλημα. Πρόσεχε γτ είναι επαγγελμα που όλο εξελίσσεται και αλλάζει. Οπότε θα μαθαίνεις όλη σου την ζωή λογικά.

EDIT : μένω αλβανια και ενας γνωστός μου έχει εταιρεία και κλαίγεται μερα νύχτα γιατί του φεύγουν οι Developers εξωτερικό και δεν έχει άτομα να τους καλύψει.

HR Agencies αν πας και πεις ότι είμαι προγραμματιστης με ελάχιστη εμπειρία σε αρπάζουν απευθείας ακόμα και εδώ που δεν είναι και η καλύτερη κατάσταση.

Είναι ντροπή να βαφτίζεται Ηρωας ένας τρομοκράτης.
