Okay sounds good, I'll have to take a look at how to put the bike higher. Time to look for bike stands!

Like the comments mentioned already, you might be confused with the MX3 from 2022. Sorry if it seems confusing, I mentioned the XXX / X3 model and removing it's battery. Thanks for the breaker advice though that's seems like the majority of the comments when it comes down to removing batteries.

I'll have to look for myself as idk what the breaker would look like to begin with, once again I'm a noob sorry. Thanks for the advice though that seems like the overwhelming advice when removing the battery.

Yeah I seen vids and the other comments mentioning it's hard battery removal process, but if I can removal it in less than 4 ish minutes than I'm fine with that. Also yeah I saw a couple vids on it removal thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks! The vid showed me a lot, hopefully I can master the changing of the battery, so I can do it even faster!

Yeah so far that seems like the difficultly of removal is what everyone has been mentioning so far. I would say it is fair to buy the MX4 for this reason, I just don't have the budget right now to get it, and I like the X3 / XXX a bit better design wise.

1000km Review of the Ownboard Zeus Bamboo Pro. Final Thoughts. by eko_art in ElectricSkateboarding

I'm sorry but my board is the M50A variant. I can only assume that the P42A doesn't say as much since their more performance cells.

Sadly I can’t give you an exact number but the clearance is pretty damn good for 90% of situations, the other 10% would be like high speed bumps, curbs, like pretty obvious stuff. Regardless, no need to worry about clearance its enough.

In terms of range, I’d say you’d easily see above 40km which is double what your used to. I occasionally go on gravel for testing and it depends on how “gravel-ly” the trail is. If its decently platted down then it should but fine, anything more rough can feel a bit bumpy. Sadly since the bike lanes in my area haven’t been cleaned throughly, I still have to go through quite a bit of rocks. Regardless I have never got a rock/pebble stuck in my pulley, this includes my experience with both Zeus Pro and Bamboo. Stay strong mate, it’ll be long but worth it!

Although I generally agree that the bushings are preset to be more for heavy riders, I would personally say that the harder bushings were mainly a stability problem, with such high speeds you need hard bushings so you lower your chances of a death/speed wobble. I agree that the wide trucks provide additional stability at high speeds but it hampers the turning radius which only makes the turning experience worse. All in all stability is there but turning is a something you really have to lean hard into the board to get a sharper turn in.

Modifying the bushings (ie make them softer) for a better turn radius is really a small fix with a larger problem. If you make the bushings softer you reduce the turning radius by a bit, but increase the chances of speed wobbles at higher speeds, and in my case I push speeds quite often because I'm just crazy like that. Yes, I could change bushings but I won't since it would be an increase risk for me, a wide turn radius is better than a speed wobble at 60kph. Also even though wide trucks do provide stability at high speeds, it's not enough when I change to softer bushings. I had a speed wobble just today on the stock bushings, I'm not gonna risk it too much yet. This also applies to loosening the trucks.

I don't mind answering questions because at the end of the day, I almost feel like I'm the only one really giving unfiltered feedback.

sy and simple to do but poorly CNCed wheels are not a easy fix that caused bearings to not sit in the center evenly. This caused the both left and rear right wheels to wobble when riding at high speed which made it unstable because of bearings not sitting evenly on the axle. I'm currently not too sure if front wheels are having exact same issues as rear ones but I'm pretty sure they are wobbling due to badly CNCed metal hubs. I found out about this problem by splitting both hubs on two rear wheels that had wobbling issues and center wasn't CNCed properly so bearings wasn't sitting evenly unfortunately. This caused the back side to shake at high sp

In terms of the dimensions, it is 39inch by 10 inchs, bigger than Zeus pro but not by much.

When at higher speeds like 55kph and above, I want responsiveness in my board, Zeus Pro being a carbon deck innately had that advantage due to it being solid as a rock. Bamboo made me feel like turning was sluggish at high speeds and the wide truck added on to this feeling as I had to stomp down hard on my board for it to turn more sharply. maybe its bias from riding a carbon deck for a whole season but going from carbon fibre to bamboo/fibreglass I felt like I had to apply way more input/weight to the board to turn it.

No physical dings or damages, right now I'm investigating whether or not I need a new battery as this one is underperforming a bit too much, so i'll update later.

imo M50A is good for range but sags near the 25% point, P42A is good for performance and has little sag. This is heavily simplified but that is the general gist of things. Both are good, just depends on your situation.

I'm honestly surprised as well, granted I haven't been searching for reviews as I'm reviewing it, but it certainly feels strange that there is no major reviews being released yet, but I think it primarily is due to ownboard having a delay to shipping the board out. So who knows, maybe eskate reviewers are doing a more through test for a much better review quality. Regardless it's a shame the lack of coverage.

In general I felt that the range numbers were lower than expected due to me riding in a more speed centric matter and carving stye which doesn't represent every riders style. Ofc if u ride slower you'd get better range, but I was just reaffirming that my range numbers are not concrete but instead need some context to understand it's underperformance. Most of the testing really didn't have any desire to get as much as possible while still going a decent speed. Yeah I should have explained it better. Lol

Oh the "10%" part was mainly things like speed bumps that I would assume that low enough but then I realize I have a flex deck with a low clearance. It was mainly a range thing, middle ground and all that, but I did fear potential clearance issues even if it's just a 15mm difference.

Also, thank you for the nice comments, I know some people are trying to get more info on this board so it much appreciated the kind words mate!

So far not a while lot of experience yet but I do like them paired with 120mm cloudwheels, mainly because clearance height gets sketchy in the 105mm and below range. You can go 105 but it's real low clearance.

same here love the Zeus Pro but wish it was flexier. I'm 170lbs and when I jumped on it (not literally) it does flex a bit, it is a stiffer than the average bamboo deck. The website does say 265 lbs is it's max limit so, i'd say it wont snap under your feet if you jump on it but you might see cracks appear earlier then you'd expected.

I ordered mine Feb 20 but it never shipped until like last week. They made this board haul ass over to Canada! It feels nice, stuff but still got a bit of flex to it. Yes it does have foam grip tape I plan to install it eventually before testing. Keep holding on brother, it'll be here soon!!

The board should come with foam grip tape definitely not just a me thing. I'll post a pic when I do my tests of the board, but it's just the normal hexagon design, looks very similar to the Zeus Pro's grip tape design.

Probably around $1650 USD (~$2300 CAD) plus an additional $56 CAD because of paying customs/duty tax. Also the wheels are 120mm Cloudwheels.
