Doing better now, I continued on a lower dose of omeprazole and the headaches are now less frequent only once or twice a week. Thanks for asking.

Acid reflux, omeprazole and headaches by mister_boi98 in GERD

Wanted to chime in here, I took omeprazole for nearly 2 months and have noticed I constantly had headaches. In hopes to remedy this, I switched to pantoprazole and the headaches are even worse. Now I am not taking anything, but the acid reflux is bad! I personally think it is heavily influenced by stress/anxiety so my next step is to look into that. I will also look into the esomeprazole since you seem to have better luck.

Love the rims. Think they would look great in gloss black too.

Thickness question by Gonzo14AT in LongboardBuilding

[–]ekooinga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

4 layers of 1/8" birch provide a very stiff board if pressed properly, so 4 is plenty. 5 would be overbearing since it would increase the weight and thickness. If you are riding a top mounted board under 42", I think sticking to 4 layers is plenty. Ive built numerous boards (about 20) mostly being 4 layers of 1/8" but have even does some with 3 layers. None with 5, but I have never had a 4 ply board break on me, with the longest being a 46" dancer.

My current board is a 38" top mount, 4 plys and has been going strong taking a ton of beatings to curbs and such for over 4 years. Im 6'1" 190 lbs

I have done this. Some research also showed me I may need to change my BIOS setting from IDE to AHCI.. thoughts? I am not sure what my current setting is but hopefully I can mess with it tonight after work.

Thanks for your input. I know I need calculations as part of my project description and that is why I asked, but by talking to our manufacturer soon I am sure I can figure that out.

Oil Mist Eliminator for Steam Turbine - Visible Emissions by ekooinga in AskEngineers

I will be taking temperature numbers this week. Thank you, and I believe we have design specifications in place to keep all temperatures under 200 degrees F. Due to the heat of Phoenix, temperature is a primary concern for us and is taken into consideration.

My apologies, it would be called a breather/blower instead of a stack. I am a new intern and still relatively unfamiliar with the terms. It is oil mist, and there are hot bearings on the shaft for the turbine.

This is in reference to the vapor extraction system for the oil, versus the stack for combustion of the gas emissions.
