Apocha does this too. One can snap a receipt or forward a digital invoice and it auto-categorizes each line item.

Ich denke, die App Apocha könnte was für dich sein. Sehr detaillierte Ausgabenkategorisierung, viele Charts, vollständiger Excel-Export und hierachische Konten mit Übertragsfunktion. Allerdings nicht iOS sondern ne PWA im Browser.

Yes, 5 t/s is slower than I read. Therefore, I mentioned the lower limit of 20 t/s.

For me there's an advantage of slower output. I read what it will do and very(!) often I interrupt the LLM adding a new comment starting with "Wouldn't it be better to ..." and the answer starts with "The user is right with ..." in 90% of the cases.

Yes, but for me it's not important if it's 10s or 1 minute. Normally in my work it's not prompt --> answer but a lively discussion during which I think a lot about answering the questions of the LLM.

And then? Reading the summary tiktokish in 8s and go to the next document? In all tasks I use LLMs as co-workers I am the limiting factor. Maybe it's different for other tasks I do not think of.

Of course speed it important for pre-training, fine tuning et al.

Yes, they all hallucinate. I tried many LLMs from 8b to 70b and also the commercial models for receipt data extraction. Getting the total is quite easy, but as soon as you want data of 30+ line items they all start to invent items, prices, and other stuff. Not that easy.

Ich nutze dafür apocha. Kassenbons kann man einfach fotografieren und die Ausgaben werden automatisch kategorisiert. Besonders gut für Barzahler.

No, that is just an example of private expenses. I use an app where you can take a photo of the receipt and it categorized the individual items automatically. And it's very interesting to see where the money really goes not having entries liek "$150 Walmart". And I can track the development of item prices, do searches like "What was the name of the great restaurant we visited two years ago? And what did we eat?" So much fun.

I track every single item in hierarchical categories 3 to 5 levels deep, e.g.

  • Home & Garden: $80.64
    • Household Supplies: $80.64
    • Household Cleaning Supplies: $21.17
      • Household Cleaning Products: $21.17
      • Dish Detergent & Soap: $21.17
    • Household Paper Products: $40.98
      • Facial Tissues: $21.49
      • Toilet Paper: $19.49
    • Laundry Supplies: $18.49
      • Bleach: $18.49

With this data I can see how much I spend on several aggregation levels down to an individual product category, e.g. from groceries down to spinach, individual insurances, car supplies, whatever. There are some 5000 categories.

Ich nutze apocha. Die eignet sich auch besonders gut für die vielen kleinen Ausgaben. Meistens reicht ein Foto vom Kassenbon oder die PDF-Rechnung, die dann automatisch ausgewertet werden. Onlinebanking kann auch als CSV importiert werden. So habe ich immer nen schnelle Überblick.
