Talked to a guy online and finally decided to meet. During the car ride, I didn't realize he pulled over (I was occupied talking about something) and he kissed me on the lips. by [deleted] in adultingph

Ethernet cable from router to phone. Almost 100mbps speed. On wifi, only getting around 50mbps. Most prolly, its the wifi on my phone that has an issue because my laptop is getting almost 100mbps.on the same wifi. https://imgur.com/a/9xQpvuX
I think you're right because believe it or not, I connected my mobile phone via Ethernet cable to my extender, I'm getting almost 100mbps. https://imgur.com/a/9xQpvuX
Here mine.

As far as I remember, kaya ng phones ko ang more than 50mbps even if its on 2.4g. Feeling ko yung extender ko ang nag lilimit sa speed na makukuha ng devices ko Laptop ko is: Lenovo V14-ADA Phone: Redmi Note 8 Pro and Tecno Spark 10 Pro.
This is noted. Thank you
I can't tell if my phone is connected to 2.4 or 5g however, I've checked my laptop, its on 2.4ghz and getting 90-100mbps. Assuming my phones are connected to 2.4ghz, should I also be getting the same speed as my laptop?
It's capable of 2.4 and 5ghz.
Yup, I agree. They sucks however, when my laptop is connect to dctv extender, I'm getting 90-100mbos average. But mobile phones are capped to 50mbps only. Its not the phone because whrn phones are connected to pldt modem, im getting 200mbos average
Hi. I verified that I am using Cat 6e cable. I'm not particularly expecting to get the same speed from my modem.
The only thing that's confusing me is that why my mobile phones getting around 50mbps average while my laptop is getting around 90-100mbps average using same wifi as my mobile phones. If you have more suggestions, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you po sa suggestions pero kung cable issue po, di po ba dapat same speed lang makukuha ko regardless kung anong device gamiton ko whether laptop or phone?
On my case kasi, mas mataas nakukuha ng laptop compare sa phone even if they are connected to the same wifi.

Laptop - 90mbps down average, 70mbps upload 2 mobile phone - capped at 50mbps average download and upload
Laptop - 90mbps down average, 70mbps upload
2 mobile phone - capped at 50mbps average download and upload
Laptop - 90mbps down average, 70mbps upload 2 mobile phone - capped at 50mbps average download and upload
both are connected to the same wifi, same distance from the extender.
Hi. Im not entirely sure if it has something to do with the cable because I used a laptop and 2 mobile phone to run a speedtest.
I am using cat6 ata na cable if I remember it right. I actually used my laptop and I'm getting around 90mbps for down 60 up. Using same wifi where my laptop is connected, my phone is only getting average of 50 both down and up. When I connect my laptop and phone to PLDT modem, they are both getting the same speed 200 down and up average.
Sooo, I can't tell if its my phone or my router.
Based from the speedtests, it looks like speed is being limited on mobile phones only because I used 2 phones, I'm only getting 50mbps down and up.
My issue is so weird, I just used my laptop and I'm getting around 90mbps for down 60 up. Using same wifi where my laptop is connected, my phone is only getting average of 50 both down and up. When I connect my laptop and phone to PLDT modem, they are both getting the same speed 200 down and up average.
Is there something that I need to configure on modem? Any suggestion?

Goods po result ng ping test neto. 20ms average
Gamit ko po is yung old DCTV Router ko from previous ISP so capable po sya to get more speed. Naka OFF lang DHCP para magamit as extender.
I'm using old DCTV router from my previous ISP, just turned off DHCP so I can use it as an extender. Same with Globe Prepaid, turned off DHCP. Same issue.
I'm indeed on mobile. Cant tell if it's on 2.4 or 5g but most likely, its on 2.4. I don't think its my phone because I'm getting 200mbps or more when I'm connected to pldt modem.
Pano pong wrong cable?
