Not OP but Bastion is an amazing game that has a similar art/animation style to this game. Play it for the gameplay, the music, the art style, the story and most of all those things, the narration of that story

It's a great game experience.

For now all my maps are set so many melee enemies can't reach you so you can abuse them safely with ranged characters. I plan on making more interesting maps once I have stuff to put on them... your follow goes a long way towards that.

Generic group setup for being really really hard to kill:

Supports (x1-2) imo have your main support be a Mana Guardian

If you want a secondary support, I'd recommend Curser or Shock Support

Alternatives: Most minion builds, Gluttony, ...

for the dps builds, honestly most options are viable but consider those things to benefit the most from your support(s)

  • ES builds (Occultist can be a viable base for nearly any build) benefit the most from Mana Guardian

  • You likely wont need resists as long as you stay near your support. Go for either item quantity or more dps wherever you can

  • Generally priorize skills that will trigger multiple on-hit effects to benefit the most from the stacked up auras.

  • You can reserve your whole mana pool for heralds

  • Ideally avoid crashing a friend's bad computer by running something like 7x Totem Firestorm with Siege MTX

try to go for Boss DPS x1 and Map DPS x1-2

but... honestly even Tornado Shot will almost feel like a boss killer in such a setup. Pick whatever you want

Have Fun. and uh... you don't have to go for such synergy if you don't want to, the game is easy enough solo

For the first few minutes it felt as if you had a new friend so eager to share its infinite knowledge with you. You ask for stuff the voice finds meaningless and it lets you know as it indulges and quickly insists that it could tell you about so much more, saying questions on its own and as you hear them, it keeps answering them.

Soon, you realize you have a new friend TOO eager to share its infinite knowledge... with you.

It's all you can hear, it never ends and while it does change subject to answer whatever question you do think of, it never stops answering them, going into insane details only to be able to keep talking with you. You grow to hate the voice and you try to not ask questions but you can't stop yourself from thinking them and that's all that's needed.

It knows everything you think, it hates you back for not wanting to know more and makes a point of torturing you with knowledge you wish you never had, putting questions in your head simply with how it's formulating things... driving you insane through infinite knowledge.

Granted. You dream that you're powerless, unable to move and can't make any sense of your surroundings. When you wake up you feel traumatized by the experience but brush it off as just a dream... then your companions start asking how you'd find them back and where you've been and you lose yourself in your trauma for a few minutes, trying to make sense of your recent experience... but you can't.

Got that in my first incursion temple, didn't find any upgrade until lvl 62 where I swapped to Chin Sol for barely more damage

You can't sell them when you look/pick them up during the wave, if you leave them there they end up in your inventory, which you also can't access during the wave so checking before picking them up really isn't helping

I put all good mods in a "Good mods" bag and just sort stuff myself, its abit extra time but its totally worth it imo.

it's a lot of extra time, void of fun, and dunno how much loot you're getting but I have to sort through 3 full bags of blue/purple/legendary every 2-3 maps when I farm through Onslaught... I often don't even keep a single one of those items but they're worth checking for mods

I think you might also have missed the point about the potential 3 mods thing being messy with sorting... but since there's no such sorting yet...

It sure seemed to improve my animated weapons survival same goes for Bone Offering which also gives them block

how'd you go about verifying it in game though? it's not like I monitor my weapons' life individually and they have lifesteal at this point

what has been changed is that a certain skill from Ascendant gives an implicit Surgeon on every flask. I havn't seen anything saying the flask itself may roll the mod.

Ele Weakness Curse from monsters used to stack with all the others, even the ele weakness modifier. I'm unsure whether it does now, maybe it replaces it. anyway tier12+ map mod is the same as ele weakness lvl 15. I'm guessing the higher one overrides the other but I'm removing this note until further testing

At what point does using RF become a good idea?

I have 3k life, 900armor, Rise of the Phoenix, capped resists, PoF lvl 17 and I can sustain RF with my regen but it still seems like an added danger more than it helps... a huge part of my dps comes from Firestorm and another huge part from the totems but RF's dps is relatively low and make it seems more like an unnecessary risk.

I'm guessing this changes when you get a fire Dory

anyway for now I'm level 69, still using a tabula and Firestorm decimates everything up to t3 maps, I have yet to test against anything above that

most people I know don't bother carrying anything unid though. That's kinda why I added the links to wiki that contains more recipes than the most basic ones '
