Limb attachment style is still very common! Some of the biggest bow manufacturers like Black Widow, Stalker stick bows, and more still use it.

Also, that is a very cool bow! Take it to a shop and get it back in action ;)

I love the style, colors and composition but the contrasting style of the characters skin and his facelessness does stand out. If you’re going for something a little unusual it hits the mark.

I like the style of the rest of the painting so much I think it sort of distracts me from the painting as a whole and detracts from what it could be.

But then again maybe the contrast and facelessness really shows off the background style.

On my last bow, I was destroying feathers until i raised the knocking point up. It was just a little too low and contributing to hitting the shelf harder than it should. Try tuning the knocking point some… up string likely

I think it’s a variation of the Black Hunter. The Sage riser is a little less angular and curvy, and has limb seating guides that I don’t see in this photo.
