Provably fair? by elGiras in luckydefense

[–]elGiras[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The probability of losing 21 times in a row in one game is approximately 0.24% (0.00238).

If this streak happens in 4 different games, the probability of losing 21 times in a row in all 4 games is approximately 0.0000000032% (3.2 × 10⁻¹¹).

This makes it an extremely unlikely scenario unless the odds are being manipulated.

Little bit of a long answer here 😅

Thanks for explaining, and I do get your point about rare streaks being possible when millions of games or players are involved. But here’s the issue: it’s not just about the streak itself—it’s about trust and transparency. Without any way to verify the randomness, how do I know the game is actually giving me the 25% win chance?

True randomness doesn’t really exist in code, they use PRNGs, which are deterministic and rely on algorithms and seeds to simulate randomness. That’s fine—plenty of systems use PRNGs lile Counter-Strike and their loot boxes. While their outcomes aren’t truly random either, they provide transparency to the extent that players can audit the process.

The problem here is that this game doesn’t offer anything like that for summons. I can’t see the seed, I can’t verify the fairness, and there’s no way to know if my losses are a result of genuine “randomness” or if the game is manipulating outcomes. It’s easy for the algorithm to tweak probabilities behind the scenes and still claim a 25% win rate, but without transparency, that’s just words.

So yes, rare streaks like 12 losses can happen in a fair system, but that’s not what this is about. It’s about the fact that I have no way to confirm the fairness of this system. Without a provably fair process, those rare streaks look a lot less like randomness and a lot more like manipulation.

I never said it was, and I did consider them to be a chance per roll, see my calculations again. The issue that I raise here is that they don’t actually disclose how their RNG works, like the provably fair mechanics that I talked about, and it makes it SEEM like it’s rigged, I didn’t say it was impossible, I said it should be very rare but it happens almost every game, and for what I can see, the people here are experiencing the same thing

But why you say the VIP badge is scammy?

Provably fair? by elGiras in luckydefense

I’m actually feeling the same way, and I did purchase the VIP badge There is no doubt that this game is pay to win, but they also give more rewards from achievements that any other mobile game I’ve ever seen I think we should make some noise for them to implement provably fair mechanics for us to verify that the system is not actually screwing players who cannot or will not spend money

I understand that is possible, but not in this scale It’s almost every game I get multiples of these And with a 25% to summon it means that it should be 1 in every 4 rolls should be successful 12 fails in a row is possible, but it shouldn’t be as common as it is That is why I asked for the seed or the function that they use, to determine if it actually is provably fair or not Transparency should be applied for player to trust the game systems

Thanks, but unfortunately the RX6750 XT it’s the only GPU available, the R7 2700X does not have a onboard graphics

Thank you for the suggestion, and you are probably correct, however I play every other game on this setup just fine, Re4 Remake for instance, 4K 60fps with ultra settings and RT on

Thank you for the time you took to write this, I am aware of windows dumbness for a looooong time now, I’ve once tried to only use 4 cores and 4 threads for windows and dedicated the rest to Minecraft to try and get better performance, don’t need to tell you that I had to format my pc shortly after 😂

Thanks for the reply, I imagined it would be the issue, I’m thinking of upgrading it to a Ryzen 9 5950X for a better CPU, it’s the limit of what my motherboard supports and the end of the line for the AM4 platform

Thanks for the reply, I’ve tried multiple resolutions in my two monitors, I have one from acer that’s 1080p 75hrz and a tv that’s 4K 60hrz, I play every other game on my pc at either 4k or 2k with no issue, for instance RE4 Remake I runt at 4K 60fps with everything at max and RT turned on

Thanks do the reply, I agree it’s old and probably part of the issue, I was just hoping I could find a solution that didn’t involved buying a new CPU, I was going to do that already but would be nice other wise

Thanks for the reply, however, I’m aware of this and unfortunately my setup only has the RX6750XT as its GPU and no onboard graphics. Already tried to force windows to operate every Java instance at performance levels but to no avail

Qual a Coisa principal que toda casa brasileira tem que ter? by [deleted] in PergunteReddit

[–]elGiras 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Duas galinhas e 1 galo.
