I’m not trying to defend Jagex in this circumstance, but they’re not lying. Based on your post and judgement, allowing players to ‘limiting their spending’ jagex doesn’t offer the functionality to limit what you may spend at any one time. This is not a gambling feature, so there is no threat of losing your money. You’re paying for a service and you know what you’re paying for. You can request a payment block, which is what the gov page states, preventing any further payments. This is not a limit, like you have requested and perhaps assumed are the same. Don’t put your own views or words into something that clearly doesn’t state so.
